Iraqi Girl Saves Marine Patrol

This is an awesome story!

A little Iraqi girl received a present from a Marine only weeks earlier, stood in the middle of a busy street, preventing a Marine patrol from hitting an imbedded mine.

Our military is making a difference, and the Iraqi people recognize it……..

    As the Americans rolled through my hometown at the end of WWII in Germany, an American Soldier gave me a Hershey bar. After my father returned from the POW camp in Alabama he urged me to go to America when I grew up, he said the people are GREAT. I agree, I got here as fast as I could. What a country!!!

    this is an incredible story. i am so proud of the troops trying to help the iraqi people and reaching out to the children that for too long have not been able to be children.. such a brave little girl too. just a simple show of kindness has proven to be enormously rewarding. god bless this troops that put themselves in harms way and god bless the people of iraq that yearn for a better life.. nancy
