Ok Edd now it is time to kick some Austin BU*T!!
This is a great win!
Thank you Friendswood
Bravo to the voters, and let’s continue to roll over these “snake killers” until we clear them all out of office.
Sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss…..!!!
NO MORE RINOS!!!
Friendswood today, Fred Hill in 2006
This response, although highly compelling as well as enormously entertaining, may not realy be Edd. There was no cameo of his dog barking in the background, a signature characteristic of a typical Hendee broadcast.
rockets nil edd two.
Found it interesting that none of the local channels webb sites had any coverage of the Friendswood election. Channel 11 had a story about the Dallas Mayoral race but nothing on OUR WIN IN FRIENDSWOOD.
Texans new battle cry, “Remember 3%”
Excellent job, folks.
Next you need to
a. tell Perry to get with the program by vetoing the sham bills or Republican folks wont vote for him over Kay Bailey.
b. tell Dewhurst he is on the “got to go” list
c. and then pick a local Rep Rep and Senator and tell them they are on the “got to go” list
If I was a RINO in Austin right now I would be clamoring for a special session to bring back the vote on the 3% cap.
They are in the hands of the voter. Next? Fred Hill and his minions!
The snake may have started eating the hoe.
Good luck to John LeCour and Chris Peden.
Below is a copy of the letter I have sent to Fred Hill and his band of thugs, othewise know as the “RINO 36″
I urge everyone to mail these “bosses” and let them know what happened in Friendswood and that their “reign of terror” will soon be over.
Dear Rep Hill,
Yesterday, two councilpersons in the City of Friendswood, TX went down to defeat at the hands of Chris Peden and John LeCour. They defeated two incumbents who supported Ron Cox, the City Manager, and “Walking Boss” for Rep Fred Hill.
These two candidates support a flat line budget for the city as well as appraisal caps for homeowners. In addition they also want to end the practice of using taxpayer money to fund trips to Austin by city officials to lobby against tax decreases. The beginning of the end is near.
Homeowners in the state of Texas are not going away on this issue. We cannot continue to endure your “unfunded mandates” in the way of a 10% increase in property taxes every year.
Be advised, I will not donate any money to the TX GOP but will use discretionary dollars to fund any and all candidates who support a 3% appraisal cap no matter what party. Your “rein of terror” will soon be over.
“Raising up the taxes here boss”
“Not today boy”
Sincerely,
Jack Henderson
Some people, who get into City, County, State, and National Politics, do so in order to participate in the Perks that are available to them due to the Vast Amount of Money the working class, who don’t get or even know about these Perks must pay in Taxes. The incoming Tax Money gives them a tremendous amount of power that favors them over the average working person who has little time to keep up with Some of the elected officials and their Shadow Gofers.
Some of the Perks –
Free Parking - No parking tickets - No speeding tickets – Drivers/Limo’s — Free Tickets, Food, Drinks at Sporting/Entertainment events – Charge accounts set up for them — Campaign contributions from individuals who want favors – Campaign contributions, money, trips, and gratuities from businesses that want contracts – Award contracts to individual/businesses promising to get them elected – then get votes from the people who work for businesses – Options on land where roads are to be built without any investment until roads are built and land prices escalate — Hidden retirements accounts – Lobby for what is in their own best interest at Tax Payers expense – little if any increase in property appraisals each year — on and on. Is it any wonder why a person will spend hundred of thousands of dollars to get elected and then work for so little pay? It’s the Perks that come along with the few dollars salary that makes it all worth while to them.
AND BEHOLD – Along comes DAN, EDD, AND PAUL and their effective Elves spending their own money, time and effort only for the purpose of shedding light on only two or three of the many many Perks that Some politicians receive at Tax Payers Expense.
HOW SWEET IT IS – To have the rare privilege of seeing – One Leader, joined by Another Leader, then a Third Leader joins them for the sole purpose of just doing the right thing.
I believe it was Attala the Hun who said – A great leader is someone who can accomplish great things with willing followers. DAN, EDD, and PAUL have, are, and will continue to do great things with 23,000 + and increasing, willing CLOUT followers.
Mr. Jim – 50 years in private business, Oil Field Trash & proud of it — and never in politics and never will be.
I thought Edd’s “Boss Hogg” reference was rather kind, considering that Friendswood’s city leadership was behaving much more like Boss Tweed.
I checked this mornings on-line comical edition for any info on the election ( I am a PROUD EX-comical subscriber) and could find NADA ( little seasonal cinco de mayo jibberish for all you multiculturalists-wackos).
At breakfast I found a copy of todays print edition and could not find any info either. They even had several pages devoted to area races yet NO Friendswood.
Perhaps I just missed the story….SURELY our beloved hometown newspaper would not deliberately refuse to cover an election just because the results are counter to the proscribed party line!!!
Couldn’t be…I just missed it ,must be somewhere in the 782 pages of overpriced no one reads ads that our local businesses pay good money for no readers……. never mind.
To EDD, DAN, PAUL, ELVES & CLOUT’S — You have given the RINO’S a new saying –
Old RINO Saying to Taxpayer —-
Just Shut Up and keep Paying.
New RINO Saying to Loyal Staff —- Just Shut Up and Start Packing.
Being a Tax Paying Cap
So what is the city cousal makeup now, good guys vs. bad guys?
Thanks guys
Jeff Martinez
This election proves that we have CLOUT. I promise you that politicians will take note of this. I will be sending CLOUT some more money this week, for future advertising campaigns
IT LOOKS LIKE CLOUT CAN GET THE JOB DONE
I’m so happy you found the original webcast! It’s so funny. Did you see the Chronicle failed to report the Friendswood election at all? Not a peep in today’s internet edition.
Funny Chronicle Didn’t even comment on Friendswood.
So I knew the Mayor and friends were out
67% is nice painful lesson
John Trotter
It’s unbelievable that over 1,000 people voted to keep the good ol’ boys. Would love to hear their reasons.
WOW!!!! Hooray and Hallelujah you had it comin to ya! Goody Goody for Texas, Goody Goody for Edd Hendee
I am with you all the way Edd. Although I am leaving Texas I wish ya’ll good luck. I can’t stand the property tax situation. Adios Amigos
The Houston Commicles ‘Election Central’ is there, but you have to search a little bit to find it.

Please CLOUT make Montgomery County Judge Sadler and Commissioners next! Let’s send these RINO’s packing! Did you know Sadler and the tax collector are on the appraisal board? Talk about the fox in the hen house! If you want to see county government out of control visit downtown Conroe! The only thing missing is a White House for Sadler!
Also, Montgomery Independent School District’s School Board is out of control! Take a drive through Montgomery and check out the lavish school buildings and stadium that a Division 2 university would love!
Fred Hill should be examining his chances when he comes up for election in Richardson. I do not give money to many canidates, but I will contribute to anyone running against Mr. (sick) Hill.
Stain in office, when in doubt Clout it out. Way to go Friendswood.
It is scary when telling the truth is called dirty. The American culture is sliding downhill rapidly and 1/2 truths are considered gospel and the gospel is offensive to the masses. Billy Conner
Congrats to Chris & John in F/wood. Obviously the voters appreciated your platform! We’ll be looking forward to watching you work on taxpayer issues with fairness, equity and conservative practices. Thanks for taking on this task. F/wood is a great place to live - hope the two of you will be part of making it even better.
Linda Titus
I am signing on a town home this Wednesday. Thanks.
Edd, I think it is time to eliminate Jon Lindsay also just like the folks in Freindswood. We’ll need Clout’s help, but I think it is time to see him go.
Your thoughts on any respectable candidates.
Don Theesfeld
Edd, I have not received my appraisal yet. I protested last year and did get a reduction. When I go to HCAD website, my account is listed as pending. Most other houses in the neighborhood have 2005 appraisals. Do I need to call or will they get around to an appraisal before the May 30 protest deadline?

Two more Tax and Spend a creeps down - It is a time of reckoning! BEWARE AUSTIN!
Quickly, quitely, we will move in and remove those who dare defy us in Austin. Watch out Lt. Governor. Watch out Fred Hill and your band of 37 snakes, we are coming for you!
WE the people DO MATTER!
At last! My political donations are finally being put to good use. Makes me want to give more..to CLOUT.
Representative Fred Hill has his hoe. We have shovels. Now the voters have got out their shovels–and have started to MUCK OUT THE STABLES.
Good Job Friendswood.
We should consider making this a part of our taxation without representation tax revolt:
Lets MUCK OUT THE STABLES!
Lets MUCK OUT THE STABLES and start with the RINO’s and the SHUT-UP AND PAY politicians everywhere. We could even give Rep. Hill credit for helping us come up with this slogan, after all he gave me the idea.
By the way, I never use a hoe to kill snakes, I always use a shovel. When you hoe a snake, you never know where it will land, e.g. Friendswood, and it may not be dead. With a shovel, you simply decapitate the snake, and it goes nowhere. Hint: Use the shovel like a spear, and aim for the neck, right behind the head. Works everytime.
I was uncertain about the outcome because of too much voter apathy.
I could not be more pleased with the results.
CLOUT DOES have a future!!
You guys at KSEV and CLOUT are overwhelming. Been a long time regular listener, especially early morning/evening drive time. Been wanting to donate to CLOUT for a while, just been procrastinating. No more. Check coming a.s.a.p.
The people should now feel like they are empowered. I do. Congratulations on a job well done. Who’s next?
Friendswood - Thank you for stepping up to the plate and voting in LeCour and Peden!!! Without this victory at the ballot box, as a CLOUT member, I would have been demoralized!
Citizens of surrounding cities take note - Friendswood has struck the match. Let the fire spread from there. Keep track of the officials in YOUR cities that aren’t looking out for YOUR financial interests and VOTE THE RASCALS OUT!
Meaning property tax relief WILL come, we just have to vote out the obstacles !!!
