Why does something like this even get coverage?

So she’s apparently recovered from the Stockholm syndrome. Can we return her to prison since she’s accountable for her actions again?

    Right and Mike:
I’m w/you. Who on earth cares what she thinks? Let’s “move on” to something else. (But not dot org)

“Tania” sure looked fearful while holding bank patrons at bay with that sub-machine gun as she covered her SLA “captors.”

    FLEE Bailey saved her bacon.

I wonder if she still has stock in the family newspaper?

Uh, am I the only one not looking to kill the messenger, but instead try to understand the message? Thirty years ago, George W. Bush was a heavy drinker and (allegedly) a cokehead, but look how many millions worship him now.

    #5,

While I did vote for him twice, worship isn’t exactly how I’d phrase it.

I wanna know where all this panic is? Has anyone seen stories of panic? Are you paniced? I’m not.

Pass me the duct tape and plastic please.

Patti was referring to Americans in fear of the ACLU, renegade judges, and Hillary, wasn’t she?

I think what Patty said was true enough. The Govt, and media keeps the US in a constant state of fear to justify the foreign and domestic policies of the administration that are going bad.
History repeats itself and OIF is turning into another Vietnam- an illegal war. Everytime people question this (out of patriotism or not) George W justs wraps himself up in the US flag and brings up 911.
Patty is right that we live in a state of fear. And like it or not, many of the things the SLA said would happen in the future IS happening right now. The fascist insect (corrupt right-wing govt in bed with rich corporations)IS preying on the lives of the people instead of upholding and defending the very Constitution of the United States- which the President, by OATH, is obliged to protect.
Our freedoms are being taken away day by day and anyone who has the Constitutional right to stand up and say anything about it is labeled a traitor or unpatriotic- same as in 1974.
The SLA may have had a delusional dream of a United Symbiotic America living in a communist-style harmony, but much of what they claimed of their time and indeed of our time was/is true.
As for Patty Hearst, she was clearly under SLA control when she robbed the Hibernia bank. WHY would anyone announce their name in a hold-up? Because she was being used by the SLA and contrary to reports in the bank footage you can clearly see one of the hardcore SLA members pointing a gun in “Tania’s” direction. He is to the far left from her position and out of camera range through most, but not all, of the footage.

Also, in Hearst’s book “Every Secret Thing” in the photo section there is a photo from the Hibernia bank robbery camera footage showing THREE guns trained on her by fellow SLA members. Refute that.
