Nature must be stopped! Who do these animals think they are?

  2. Me_Myself_n_I on October 13th, 2005 at 7:27 am

Don’t these animals know they should only eat fruits and vegetables grown without the use of any pesticides?

    Tsk tsk…

This is when I realize this site is just a waste of bandwidth

The other day I saw a photo of a python who got the best of a alligator in Florida. As the python was swallowing the gator it clawed thru the snakes belly killing them both. I guess the old saying “never give up” applies.

Thing is, I didnt know which one to feel bad for. The snake or the alligator. On the bright side, someone is going to have a couple nice pair of shoes and purse.

    Matt -

So does this mean that PETA would be peeved at Fred Hill for espousing and glamorizing his call to kill snakes with hoes?

  6. jimb on October 13th, 2005 at 8:40 am

We better sic Pam Anderson on Fred Hill, post-haste…

  7. Mike Martin on October 13th, 2005 at 9:08 am

So I can’t go on about my rat killin’? Can’t even get a snake to do it for me?

  8. Geni on October 13th, 2005 at 9:12 am

You know, it’s really a shame that PETA has made themselves into such a joke. They could do some good work by helping abused animals if they only would. For example, I hate to see these horses standing around in dirt pens with their ribs showing. Where is PETA?

Instead, they want to force everyone to equate animals with humans, and that is just not the way it is. Humans were put in charge of the animals and should treat them ‘ethically’ right up to and including the killing them for food.

hmmmm… this has me thinking….. burger or chicken for lunch?

Talking about PETA and their efforts to protect animals, well, there are other groups out there that need protection from predators. So, here is my list of the “Top Ten” groups who need some sort of ethical treatment or protection:

    1) The blacks—from those poverty pimps like Jesse Jackson.

    2) The hispanics—from the Johnny Mata types and LULAC.

    3) The property owners/taxpayers—from the Fred Hills and the “rino”s in state government.

    4) The conservative Republicans—from the Ronnie Earle types who abuse their power.

    5) The interns and women in general—from the Bill Clinton types who use their position to prey on them.

    6) The church worshipers—from liberal Democratic office seekers who use the pulpit, not for preaching, but speech making.

    7) The people of New York—from Hillary Clinton who is using that state for a stepping stone to the White House.

    8) The peaceful people of the world—from terrorists whose only agenda is to rule the world.

    9) The citizens of the USA—from liberal Democrats who believe that big government can take care of everything.

    10) The conservatives—from the biased liberal media who have an agenda of making their own news, not reporting it.

I am pretty sure there are other groups who need protection from predators that I left out. So feel free to add to my list.

Every time I hear “PETA,” I remember (some comedian) saying something to the effect of “Why does PETA always throw paint on old, rich women wearing fur, instead of bikers on Harleys wearing leather?”

    PETA…People Eat Tasty Animals

    Good point…I like it!

I’m sick and tired of PETA getting all the ink. I am founder of SAPS (Stop Abusing Plants Society.) At least animals have the ability to run away from preditors. Poor plants just have to take it. Plants are the most consumed food on the planet. Some animals actually even use the embyonic sack of the cotton plant to make clothing! At least some caring industries in our area are taking steps to regcognize the plight of our leafed friends. I’ve seen some special driveways labeled “Plant Entrance.”

Join today. You, too can become SAPS.

I really don’t know what all the fuss is about concerning PETA. After all, ranchers should all get behind the People for the Edible Treatment of Animals.

After all, we’ve been eating animals for years. They have proven themselves to be edible time and again.

    What? It’s not “edible?”

    Never mind.

I agree with Geri. PETA could do a lot of good, but they are stuck on making everyone a vegan, when humans are obviously carnivores of the highest magnitude. PETA should focus on abuse of animals, not what we have for supper. Geri, I say go with the beef!

  16. Wino on October 13th, 2005 at 2:24 pm

    Humans are omnivores.

    Cats are carnivores.

    Cows are herbivores.

John Kerry and Al Gore are totalbores.

This topic is so lame I cant come up with anything. Sorry. We need to do a thread on Natalie Hollaway. I miss hearing “Van Der Sloot”

  18. Willie on October 13th, 2005 at 3:08 pm

#16 With our nation at war, runaway record spending (not even taking into account the Katrina rebuilding “project”), soaring debt levels, and with our nation’s borders overwhelmed with illegals…boring looks pretty good right about now!
    Signed,

All I know is that if PETA had their way, this place would not be around for me to enjoy…

Re #6 That really is sending the Hoe after the snake.
If GOD didn’t want us to eat animals he wouldn’t have made them out of meat.

  23. squawkbox on October 13th, 2005 at 5:59 pm

    Hey PETA
Ya gotta kill it to grill it. That is what separates men from the animals.

  24. Big45Iron on October 14th, 2005 at 10:37 am

I’m waiting for the PETA person who is willing to stand between me and the lion. The last words I’d hear from the PETA person would be “IT’S NOT FAIR!”
