Sweet. Do you think we will see this reported on the Chronicle any time soon?

  2. Kevin Whited on October 27th, 2005 at 1:29 pm

    blogHOUSTON.net is worth zero.

Given the heavy Chron.com and local pol readership of the little blog, maybe that really IS about what it’s worth.

    *shrug*

    #1 mizsak,

I sure hope so! They can put it right next to my online compatibility test I took with my wife!

Yeah, but don’t forget, your site is almost like electronic art. Art transcends– and as an artist you should show disdain for– the bourgeois, money-grubbing and materialistic mentality of the marketplace. ;)

On a side note, I can’t until Dan finds out… wonder if he will regret selling LST to me for a dollar back in September? :O

    That’s a 2.81×10^62% annualized return.

    Kevin,

It is my perception that blogHOUSTON is of such intrinsic, intuative and irreplacable precious insight that it must be deemed PRICELESS!

I’m sure the problem is one of coding since The Kevster is not using Nucleus for the bH forums and for that matter Nucleus may not be compatable with the code anyway. And Chron.com, not being a blog with external links really doesn’t qualify now does it? that is like comparing a bicycle with a Top Fuel dragster, the only real similarities are that they both have wheels….

  8. Matt Bramanti on October 27th, 2005 at 4:53 pm

    Now there’s a slogan.

Lone Star Times: The Top Fuel Dragster of the Blogosphere.

    I like, I like! Vrooooooooom!

    :)

I have a better moniker for LST……one that pays tribute to the one-and-only, soon-to-be-dismantled, world’s greatest roller coaster:

“LST - The Texas Cyclone of the Blogosphere”

    ….and 90 cents? lol

too funny….did the round down from 92 cents?

    Matt “Nitro-fueled” Bramanti…

I’m POSITIVE the value of LST would increase exponentially if…

…there was a friggin’ “Back To Main Page” link next to the “Submit Comment” button below!

  13. Kevin D. Taylor on October 28th, 2005 at 9:53 am

Better yet: on the comment page, include a scrolling window that contains a hot link to the comment page for each post on the Main Page.

Wait a minute…..didn’t the “old format” have that? I believe it did, but the all links brought you back to the single Comments page. Powerbloggers could greatly enhance their efficiency with such a feature (especially those stealing time from work).

Baby steps! Baby steps! Bring back the scrolling window!
