I agree…sweet…Getting the good book to million(s) of people is the positive key note. However, unfortunitly, doing the Lord’s work is not always the safest job…nor does it pretend to be. My hat is off to each and all missionaries.

How Ironic. China makes all of our DECORATIONS,LIGHTS and TOYS for CHRISTMAS!!!

I wouldnt be surprised if Wal-Mart has their bibles printed in China. We bought a Manora a few years ago and it said “made in China” on the bottom.

Yes yes… and we merrily keep doing business with this gang of cutthroats…

Where now be the high morality of the right?

There is no such thing as a gender-neutral translation….only gender-neutral revisions.

What? Making a cogent point about Christian hypocrisy doesn’t get past the censors? Any version of the Christian bible that is not in Greek is a revision. Who’s monitoring this board anyway? The Pope?

  7. Wil Barnes on November 8th, 2005 at 3:59 pm

I still would like to know which version they translated from.

Wil, accusing LST bloggers or commenters of cheering Chinese religious persecution will certainly NOT make it past “the censors” (in this case, yours truly).

There was no cheering in my post. I frankly feel sadness for the many misguided Christians who populate this blog.

    Good day sir,

    #9 WB,

Is the implication there that you are a “guided” Christian, unlike the rest of us?

#3 - as if the Right is the only people doing business with (and decrying the government oppression of) China?
