Fellow Lone Star Times writers and readers, we have reached a milestone today. The “Mayor Whi-Fi” story was post number 2,000! It was only this past June that we marked 1,000 stories, so we have obviously been hard at work keeping you on the cutting edge of news and opinion. From panda sex to hurricanes, you read it all here, and we thank you for your patronage. Feel free to share your favorite LST moments in the comments section.

It has been nice to be able to express my opinions and to do my “Top Ten” list in a forum that allows debate on issues and not like that biased rag they call the Houston Chronicle. I look forward to the future especially election time.

I think so far my favorite was the long trip through the past a couple of weeks ago, remembering bands and concerts, and aging many of us.

I enjoyed all the pictures taken inside the Astrodome of the hurricane victims. Truly a view not shown in any other medium. Good job.

For me it’s been the open comments threads that get the prize. They’ve led to a lot of interesting discussions amongst us, including the one SC mentions above. Like Robert says, this has been an excellent forum for debate and my hat is off to all who I’ve argued with, agreed with, and just plain laughed with.

Congrats! I remember back in the day when “Chronically Biased” came online and I book marked it and still - to this day - visit it at least twice a day.
