What we’re trying to do is get some idea, get our arms around what the impact on the state budget will be from these two hurricanes,” said Sen. Tommy Williams, R-The Woodlands, a member of the committee. “Enough time has passed that we can begin to get a sense of the magnitude of the impact.
Here is what Tomate’ Williams is really saying:
“What we are trying to do is predetermine our justification for not giving a property tax break or reduce the tax cap, again. We have to do this now because we know Dan Patrick is going to be here in the next session and we will need a credible sounding response when he uncovers the real truth of what is going on in Austin.”
3 Billion Dollar surplus!?!?!!!!!
GIVE BACK MY MONEY
I can’t vote for Dan in the coming election because I’m not in his district. As for all of you readers that can vote, I encourage you to make a special effort to help others in a get out and vote effort. Make no mistake, I will vote, I just can’t vote for Dan, but I would if I could. It’s my hope that us voters can “clean house” in Austin. It’s been a long time coming and the “stastus quo” has got to change. For those that loose their cushy ‘Guvment’ jobs, oh well, you brought it on yourselves.
You can put a bumper sticker on your vehicle. I cannot vote for Dan either but I do have bumper stickers on my vehicles, I will be knocking on doors for Dan, giving funds also. Unless someone shows up to run against Tomate’ Williams I feel that my efforts are best directed for Dan. Just a suggestion.
Note: This was not a paid endorsement or advertisement for Dan Patrick for Senator, rather it is my personal opinion nothing more nothing less.
Squawk - I’d be glad to put a sticker on the auto. Where can I get one? Maybe Dan will tell us on today’s show. Dan is exactly what we need in Austin. There’s very few rep’s there that I trust. I’m very much looking forward to next March. I hope the landscape changes emensly!
