I will definitely be interested in who, if anybody, runs against him in the Primary. I have not had a good track record of voting in the Primaries in the past, but that’s about to change, because the candidates that run in November elections seem to be a joke.
What is the best way to find out about who’s running in the Primaries?
Please tell me there is somebody running against him. He has said that he has worked for better schools and lower taxes. Obviously he failed - Would you keep somebody on your payrolll who doesn’t do what he is supposed to do? Let’s not keep him either. If he is the only one running can we just vote no?
Hopefully CLOUT will find an individual, to back…I haven’t voted much in primaries in the past but I agree, jimb, but that is fixing to change. I cant complain with the quality of elected officials I have to choose from if I dont vote in the primary.
#2 The best way is to contact the county clerk’s office, your precinct chairman or even a party affiliated organization like a Republican women’s group for a list of candidates.
The Republican women usually run the local campaign headquarters for the fall, but they also host candidate forums in the spring for those who are running for office. In Texas, look for most of the forums to be late January or February all the way until the primary in March. Check your local paper for information on these forums. Hope this helps.
I will not vote for Dewhurst. I hope there is a libertarian on the ballot.
No more Rinos will get my vote.
And I always vote.
Unless and until I see conservative candidates, I will not support the Republicans. Their track record for putting forward Demopublicans (start with Bush and work your way down) causes me not to trust them.
Letter to Dewhurst:
I can’t wait until you come up for re-election in the primaries or the general election so I can vote against you on any occasion. You just say what you think the voters want to hear but you are on the side of the special interest, not the taxpayers. We need to send a message to you and the rest of the ‘RINOs’ that you are going to be bitch-slapped and voted out of office ASAP!
