She seemed more than willing to give up her “Second Amendment” tool 155 grains at a time.

Waiting for the disclosure that these perpetrators were NO refugees.

    Three down, 8997 to go.

“Nice Grouping” I bet, and she “rehabilitated” one of them for good!
    Nice Job,and Well done…

I also heard that everyone living in her apartment complex were warned to stay in their apartments and lock the doors because of the high crime. Must be pretty bad over there. Unfortunately, the Jersey Village police are best known for giving traffic tickets. I got one because my front wheels were slightly over the white line at an intersection.

  5. Spark on February 1st, 2006 at 10:01 am

I didn’t think Jersey Village was that bad

  6. Spark on February 1st, 2006 at 10:02 am

The “city” part…we all know how the cops are

  7. Doch4 on February 1st, 2006 at 10:06 am

Way to go girl, a few more “Dirtbags” down the drain, nothing like good old fashioned psychology!

It seems like that is what it takes for some folks to get their well deserved attitude adjustment !

Beware, have an attorney ready, you will have the ACLU, Sara Brady and the Hildabeast after you !

How dare you violate the rights of criminals, they are misunderstood and need counseling.

DAHhhhhhh, I think they were counseled. Amen!

  8. Rorschach on February 1st, 2006 at 10:06 am

And she wern’t bad looking either! ;D

Excellent marksmanship for certain. cap one, life flight another, and arrest the third. three for three. the third guy (the one still breathing on his own) said they all three were from Cypress and they had picked thier victim at random. Excellent choice scumbag.

  9. thomas on February 1st, 2006 at 10:12 am

Man I live in Cypress. Time to get a side arm. For protection, of course.

  10. The Dude on February 1st, 2006 at 10:14 am

Good shooting officer Mong! The world needs more like you.

  11. Bill F on February 1st, 2006 at 10:46 am

    Outstanding!

  12. k-mac on February 1st, 2006 at 11:00 am

Performed in true Jack Bauer style, I’m sure. Way to go, Officer Mong!

#5: I used to live in the next set of apartments over from there. The city of Jersey Village is actually not bad, but once you get outside the JV city limits you are back in HPD’s territory, and the patrols out there are (or at least used to be) a little lighter. The apartments in this area are definitely outside of JV.

If we had gun control, the thief would not be afraid to carjack or rob because it would not be legal for the honest citizen to carry a gun to defend himself. The thought and in this case, the results should be a warning to thieves out there, there are people out there carrying guns and they will use them.

  14. CRK on February 1st, 2006 at 11:22 am

I heard on the snews last night that police were notified over a half hour before they actually showed up at the shooting scene. They sure do make us continuously proud.

  15. headshaker on February 1st, 2006 at 11:34 am

Does this make her a “War-Mong-er”?

  16. Smacktle on February 1st, 2006 at 12:04 pm

#15 Ne head that makes her a great American and
    a hero!

  17. Narly on February 1st, 2006 at 12:14 pm

Bravo! That took guts taking on gunmen like that. My hero of the day!

  18. DanielJames on February 1st, 2006 at 12:18 pm

She would have likely been raped and murdered!

Too bad all three arent dead!

    That justice!

Now let the “fun rallies” begin!

    Funerals……

  19. porterman on February 1st, 2006 at 12:29 pm

No matter where you are or what time it is it is not safe! That is why we need our own protection! Happy shooting!

  20. DanielJames on February 1st, 2006 at 12:34 pm

Funny I cant find it in the Constitution about having to have a conceal carry permit????

You have to get a permit to save your life?

    God I love this country!

  21. CRK on February 1st, 2006 at 12:39 pm

Maybe we should start calling it Joysey Village now.

  22. Dugger on February 1st, 2006 at 12:43 pm

    “Mong The Magnificent”

  23. headshaker on February 1st, 2006 at 1:09 pm

It takes major balls to do what she did. Impressive.

I don’t know if I was packing if I could pull the trigger, so it’s best I not pack. As someone else said, it could work against me in a deadly way.

  24. headshaker on February 1st, 2006 at 1:10 pm

Even the escapees from LA are coming here - geez.

Always said…Gun control means hitting your target! Good shooting Officer!

  26. gregg on February 1st, 2006 at 2:47 pm

Ive been saving this joke for a good shooting.

A man calls the police because someone is breaking into his garage. The police tell him they don’t have the manpower to respond to his 911 call.

The man waits a few minutes and calls back, saying to the police “Never mind about the burglar, I already shot him.”

Next thing he knew, 4 or 5 police units showed up. They said, “Hey, I thought you said you shot them.”

The man answered, “Hey, I though you said you didn’t have the manpower.”

  27. radiovixen on February 1st, 2006 at 2:50 pm

Makes me sleep better living in Richmond! I hope the entire force is as vigilant.

  28. pmartin on February 1st, 2006 at 2:57 pm

26 - Gregg, I just posted that joke a few days ago!

  29. pmartin on February 1st, 2006 at 2:58 pm

It’s almost word for word! Where’s my lawyer when I need him?!!!

  30. marc on February 1st, 2006 at 3:01 pm

HS, Like I have said before, if someone is trying to do you mortal injury and you have the means to prevent it, you will.

You just need some training to use the adrenaline spike to respond. Helps too if you do live gun practice. Try for bulls eyes at 10 Ft. Three Ft. is even easier.

  31. gregg on February 1st, 2006 at 3:30 pm

    pmartin,
you said I could steal it. So I did. Your royalty check is in the mail.

  32. fouralarm on February 1st, 2006 at 4:21 pm

Quoting Bill Murray, as Dr. Veckman, in Ghostbusters…
“Woah, woah, woah, woah, woah… Nice shootin’ Tex!”

  33. Big45Iron on February 1st, 2006 at 5:40 pm

You folks must not have gotten the word since Katrina. Ray Nagin doesn’t want it refered to as car jacking anymore. It is not called an undocumented auto loan.

This lady should teach the LA Sheriff’s department how to shoot. I remember when they fired at the guy in the van back in May, 2005, and only hit him 4 out of 120 rounds.

  34. Matt "Zilla" Bramanti on February 1st, 2006 at 8:33 pm

Good call, Big45Iron. Here’s that story.

  35. beach_bum on February 1st, 2006 at 8:55 pm

They train em up right down there in Sarge-Country!

Speaking of which, he made a great suggestion a coupla weeks ago. The LST bar-blogging tour should go down there to the Swingin Door out offa 762 its a great bar and they filmed the movie “Rush” there back in the early 90’s. It was called the “yellow rose” in the movie.

    Regards,
    Beach_Bum

  36. neocon on February 1st, 2006 at 8:59 pm

beach_bum - Only if the Swingin’ Door is in Cypress! Northwest is the place to go! I’ll come up with a great place.

  37. beach_bum on February 1st, 2006 at 9:08 pm

That could work since I am prolly gonna be working up there round 290 & bw 8.

  38. Big45Iron on February 2nd, 2006 at 9:34 am

Matt, I can’t believe I missed the error on post #3 on that story. It wasn’t Festus with the bum leg. It was Chester.

  39. emt151 on February 2nd, 2006 at 11:39 pm

She’s lucky she doesn’t work in Massachusetts you would have good old Ted Kennedy and Kerry tring to pass another law for legal gun owners.
