Scalia tells it like it is

Speaking at a meeting of the Federalist Society in Puerto Rico, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia had harsh words for those who view the United States Constitution as “flexible.”

PONCE, Puerto Rico — People who believe the Constitution would break if it didn’t change with society are "idiots," U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia says.

Since our kind, tolerant, accepting-of-anything friends on the Left will tolerate anything except a conservative, they obviously are not going to like this.

Scalia criticized those who believe in what he called the "living Constitution."

"That’s the argument of flexibility and it goes something like this: The Constitution is over 200 years old and societies change. It has to change with society, like a living organism, or it will become brittle and break. But you would have to be an idiot to believe that," Scalia said. "The Constitution is not a living organism, it is a legal document. It says something and doesn’t say other things."

Such “absolutist thinking” will not do much to lower the blood pressure of the already outraged Bush-hating Left, but thankfully Justice Scalia is not likely to be troubled by such concerns.

Nice work if you can get it

The Vice Squad in Virginia is quite an interesting place to work.

Detectives got sex services as part of prostitution probe

Undercover detectives have reportedly been having sex when they bust massage parlors for prostitution.

Court documents show that four times last month, county detectives allowed women at Moon Spa to perform sex acts on them — once leaving a 350 dollar tip.

Next time on Brokeback Vice, the Sheriff stands up for his men.

Sheriff Howard Smith says the detectives are just doing what needs to be done in order to build a case and get a conviction. He says they are not doing anything illegal or new.

Nice work boys, time for a "massage."

It’s Valentines Day…. feel the Love!
