My mom used to tell me when I was a kid that "as long as you don’t talk, no one will know what you are thinking".

Now, this saying always had its’ two edges: it could be a good thing or a bad thing for people to know something about you, or not know about you.

Well, everyone can now quit wondering and speculating about Spike Lee’s thoughts on Condolezza Rice:

Says Lee: "I dislike Condoleezza Rice more than [President] Bush. The thing about it is that she’s gotten a free ride from black people."

Oh no, he didn’t.

"People say, ‘She’s so successful’ and ‘Look at her position as a black woman.’ She is a black woman who grew up in Birmingham, Ala., and said that she never experienced a day of racism in her life," Lee tells the April issue of Stuff magazine.

"Condi, stop smoking that crack!"

"I know you love your Ferragamo shoes, but come on. While people were drowning in New Orleans, she was going up and down Madison Ave. buying Ferragamo shoes. Then she went to see ‘Spamalot.’"

So now we know a few things about Spike Lee:

He does hate at least ONE other person more than President Bush;
He has, as Russell on Fat Albert would say,
"NC….. No Class"!!

If he would have been quiet, we never would have know any of this.

Hmmm, lets see,black woman and smoking crack.Sounds kinda racist to me. Where are the NOW gang?How bout the NAACP? Urban league? Thats a bit degrading to women and blacks.

First of all, I want to know what Spike Lee was doing during Katrina. Was he frantically trying to help? What? Nothing? Because it wasn’t his job? Well, guess what?? It wasn’t HER JOB EITHER.

And second of all, I want to know how much of this rumour is true anyway. And I want to see the quote where she said she had never experienced racism. I don’t believe that for a second.

And last, how has she gotten a free ride from black people? and what does that mean??

Can someone play the devil’s advocate here and answer these questions? Or is it just too difficult to try and be that stupid?

Someone in the press actually play “devi’s advocate”? Only if this were Mel Gibson making these assertations.

Speaking of someone that gets a “free pass”: that would be Spike Lee. His movies don’t make a whole lot of money (See Box Office Mojo
here. He has had hits in the past, but his last movie in 2004 made $366,037. (If I am reading this correctly.)

Ya-ho.

But Spike has an important message. So he’s given a pass.

Instead of the MSM quoting this guy, they should be watching every step Tyler Perry makes. (see my write-up about Tyler on my nome de blog, Rightmom here: Tyler also happens to have the #1 movie in America, Medea’s Family Renunion. I saw it and it is EXCELLENT! Tyler Perry has a much more “important” message that Spike Lee will ever figure out in his lifetime (let alone write about it and make it into a successful film or play).

You do not have to have salient points when you are a liberal. You don’t have to have any points at all. You just spout off what you think your audience would like. If someone disagrees, just shout them down or call them names. They never answer a direct question, they will change the subject so many times you wonder what the original subject was. No, these are just lies. It’s okay if black uses racial slurs against other blacks. I think the racial lines are being blurred. Now it seems it is leftist libs (white, black and latino) vs. Conservatives (white, black and latino).

Thanks! My handlers don’t let me get out very often! The Holy Grail was one of my favorite comedies.

I’d be a church this morning if I didn’t have this chest thing (broncitus) going on. Can’t seem to stop coughing and can’t seem to shake it. Came down with it last Sunday afternoon and have missed work all last week. I’m going stir crazy!

Hmmm Hillary is being stalked by Rove. I guess it follows that Condi is being stalked by Spikey. How does he know about Condi’s love of shoes?

Does this mean Spikey has a “Condifoot” fetish? Has Spike been surfing the celebrity foot fetish sites for for clandestine pictures of Condi’s feet? Does Spike have a secret desire to slam in Condi’s toe jam?

I’d bet if you confiscated Spikey’s computer you would find picture after picture of painted, ingrown, toenails, bunions and feet callouses.

Thanks for covering for Hamous and I concerning Monty Python matters. You are correct, I was still at church (probably Hamous too). I’ve been doing some “side work” this weekend so I haven’t had a lot of LST time unfortunately.

See? I leave off for a few days and the next thing I know Condi is being called an “Aunt Tom” (in so many words). Funny how a black person can’t be conservative without having their motives questioned by other black people. It tells me an awful lot about the victimcrat mindset.

If you get a chance, ask Squawk something for me. I’ve been looking for a book… I wonder if he could help me. It’s called “Ethyl the Aardvark Goes Quantity Surveying”.

I wonder what Spike’s comments are about Colin Powell and other great African-Americans. I guess if they are not on his side then they must be “oreos”. By allowing Spike to speak we know more about his lack of intelligence and for that we are grateful!!!!
