Patrick Party Pics
by David Benzion · 03/08/2006 2:36 pmThanks to LST readers Russell Jumonville and "Paulette" for passing along these pics from the Dan Patrick victory party.

As a principled free-marketeer, Patrick campaign chairman Court Koenning sees nothing wrong with selling naming rights to son Carson’s public appearances– in this case, to the Republic of Congo, which plans to lobby during the next regular legislative session for increased trade between Texas and that small African nation.

KHOU’s Doug Miller attempts to suppress his seething rage upon noticing that LST has already published early voting returns, while he’s stuck waiting for his news director to decide to break away from "The Amazing Race 9" so he can report on the story.

Doesn’t Doug Miller look like Will Forte (SNL) imitating Zell Miller? Hmmm…Doug…Zell…Miller. I see a “Separated at Birth” comparison in the future.
Is Doug Miller really Will Forte as Zell Miller?
#2 that is hilarious
Okay, guys and gals! Let’s post some pictures. I was there, but then, I’m 5′2″ and couldn’t see much. Matt didn’t want me on his shoulders (something to do with RedZilla!) Just joking! Really, I couldn’t see much of anything except tall people in front off me!
Benzion I am proud to be a supporter. I am kicking myself for not being there with cowbell. I pulled my Dan Patrick sign from my front yard and will put it back when the elections start up in earnest again in November. It’s great to support a winning team much like supporting the Rockets tonight at the Toyota center in beating the Pacers 103-99 without Tracy McGrady. It’s great to see the home team win!
I know I was on the news waving an American flag with a fellow Minuteman.
Channel 11 I think??
Tzena took 12 good pictures.. of who? we don’t know… But I just sent the 2 “kid” pictures. One of them is of the baby above, with his grandparents {I assume}.
Did any reporters do any “man on the street interviews” while they were there? At least Doug Miller looked interested enough to walk around - Jessica Wiley didn’t get off the camera platform while I was there - although DAMN - does she look good in person ( minus points for gum chewing and
vigorous BLACKBERRY use during playing of the national anthem)
