Channel 2 is reporting that the FBI has requested Carol Alvarado’s bank records. Rusty Hardin of course assures us that it was expected and there is no smoke here. There is no FBI investigation.. Yada Yada.. (So why are they even involved then?)

I know Rusty Hardin. You don’t hire him unless you are guilty. He is the best attorney for folks who have money and are guilty as hell. Alvacado will get off, even though it has been proven that her employees received illegal bonuses. WTF, fire the employees who received bonuses approved by Alvacado? Don’t make sense!
Further, Carol Alvacado is guilty as sin! Let’s just hope that the District Attorney will indict her despite the political ramifications. That means, don’t look for an indictment any time soon. Chuck Rosenthal is just rattling his sword/shield. Trust me, you won’t hear anything else about this.
UNLESS the public (us) keeps it in the limelight!
She hasn’t been tried and convicted yet, so don’t start saying she’s guilty….. yet.
Let her have her day in court.
Of course, I was wondering where she got the money to hire Hardin and Householder… Did she steal it from the City Treasury like her employees did?
And.. At the City Courthouse… What’s up with the doofus who is paid to stand next to the AUTOMATED parking machine? All he does is take the ticket from your hand, insert it in the AUTOMATED PARKING MACHINE, then hand it back to you after you pay… And, then what’s with the guy who is PAID to stand next to the AUTOMATED PARKING GATE, who takes the ticket from your hand, sticks it in the machine, then tells you you can exit the parking lot after the blocking arm goes up?
If they’re going to pay people to assist machines, then why don’t they just go back to the old system which was more efficient?

Carol’s career in politics is just about over. Whether she is guilty of innocent is irrelavent - she has proven she can’t manage a small (very small) office.
I became convinced of her guilt when I saw her on the news supporting those idiot students waving their Mexican flags.
If she’d support them, then she’s the kind of person who would steal money from the taxpayers. Hey, why not? She’s just taking back what’s rightfully hers as an oppressed hispanic. Right?
I hope the feds send her to sing-sing.
I think that we need to keep in mind that even though the system is such that one is not guilty until after convicted, and after they lose an appeal. We are free to form our own opinion. If some believe the East End Polecat is guilty as sin, then so be it.
Even though OJ paid millions for attorneys who were able to pervert the justice system, it does not mean he did not vicously slash the throats of his former wife and another innocent human.
Therefore, even if any of these scoundrels “slip the noose” we do not have to believe any of them nor do we have any obligation to trust them.
That is if one were stupid enough to trust any of them in the first place!

Why doesn’t Rusty just go ahead and tell us what else is going to happen and how it will all turn out, then we can move on to some other ridiculous Demoncrat’s behavior - Cynthia McKinney might be a good place to start, and there’s always Algore, the demented Dr. Dean, Queen Shelia, etc.
…someone said earlier that Alvarado is just the type of politician Dumbocrats will continue to EMBRACE. The Dumbocrat plan for America is to use as much money as possible to BUY votes in order to retain or regain POWER. Stealing is one of the best ways to obtain that money and Alvarado appears to pretty efficient at doing just that.
It has come to be my understanding by observing the individuals and their behavior over the years that by and large, politicians who believe they cannot be politically successful on their own merits, beliefs and actions become democrats and are successful by being deceiptful, self serving, unAmerican, pandering to special interests, you name it. They end up catering to the uneducated, naive, mentally disturbed and racially motivated side of the spectrum.
I can’t see guilt….lack of attention and ineptitude, YES! If I am going to bilk my employer of 140k, it’s not going to OTHER PEOPLE….its going into my own bank account. I predict the FBI won’t find diddly squat for all thier trouble unless it can be tied back to inappropriate cash contributions to her election campaign. City checks have a way of surfacing pretty quickly. The paper trail is way to easy to follow.
Its funny how when Democrats are getting busted you never hear the term “culture of corruption” anymore. Hmmm.

For something to be considered part of a “culture”, it has to happen more than every once in a while. If you read about corrupt activities by politicians these days, 9 out of 10 times, it involves a Repub.
As for Alvarado, guilty or not, she should be held responsible for the mis-deeds that occured in her office, by her staff. Same thing goes for Ken Lay and Tom DeLay… or do the rules change if you’re a Repub? With all the vitriol aimed towards Alvarado, you’d have to be a raging, sociopathic hypocrite to think that DeLay deserves different treatment. And there’s no one here like that, right?

The “rule of law” will win in the end. DeLay, Skilling, Alvarado, McKinney…hide and watch.

She is not toast now or whenever. She is a demoncrat; she’s a minority and she can get away with anything she’s done (or not done.) You just watch, she will pull the race card and the white FBI agents and white assistant district attorneys will back down. Anyone want to bet?
#19…dunno that you should be “betting the farm.” Recall Reyes going to the pen? Once Federal funds get co-mingled in the “take”, the “cost of doing business” goes a bit higher. But, to your point, Reyes skated on several charges until he ran out of money.
The one thing all convicts have in common is the fact they all had lawyers. Once you can no longer afford a good lawyer, get ready to keep your legs crossed tightly!
