Great, like we will get a sympathetic ear from Senor Saavedra. Where are his papers? Is this racist? No, it is nationalism and isolationism boiling up because Americans are being insulted and taken advantage of. They turned up the heat on the pot too fast that the frogs is hopping out.
I wonder how long it is gonna take to get these kids under control. Seems like they are all out just using the protest as an excuse to skip school and cause a fuss. They need to get a lid on this quick, before things get out of hand.
**I think it is time we need to have a ton of t-shirts printed up with the AMERICAN flag with the wonderful old phrase America - LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT!
I can’t understand what these administrators are doing countrywide.
If kids wanted to all leave school to march at a pro-life rally, something tells me they would all be suspended.
But these kids can march around all day and disrupt class?
These kids don’t realize that they have shot themselves in the foot. The silent majority are becoming vocal and demanding tougher immigration laws
The public school system was beyond broken, and the recent publicized events underscore the urgency in having the legislature incorporate VOUCHERS in the upcoming Special Session.
I was the FIRST to VOTE! YEEEAAAAA!!
We need to quit wasting our time waiting on the federal government to solve the immigration problem. What is the last problem you remember them actually tackling without screwing it up worse than if they had left it alone? Governor Perry needs to tell the feds, screw you, declare a state of emergency and mobilize the national guard along the border, then send the bill to the federal government.
The superintendent of schools needs to start doing something to at least give the impression of being worth at least a small portion of his outrageous salary. I mean other than looking like he’s just been embalmed.

The irony is, that while these kids are out there demonstrating their classmates are getting an education which will ultimately make it possible to enjoy all this country has to offer.
I don’t know what everyone else thinks, but I know I feel differently towards Mexicans (whether legal or illegal) and illegals of any kind.
They sent the wrong message, and did more harm, than good. They would have been allot better off, waiving American flags.
Just waiting for our government to tell me that I need to move up North somewhere, because we are giving them their land back.
Just think, when Bush and Fox make arrangements for the borders to be eliminated, we can enjoy the serenity that Nuevo Laredo, and other border towns, are experiencing.
I’m sure that Abe will be able to solve all the problems.
There is no control over the students unless they say “GOD BLESS AMERICAN”. They can march, wave Mexican Flags and be ‘gently’ taken back to school. It’s an outrage! We’ve GOT to stop pandering to these illegals. Our states are going broke! This envasion is NOT a good thing for anybody. WAKE UP, PRESIDENT BUSH!
