Wouldn’t take that bet David! We haven’t heard the last from Casteel. Anyone know her background? Was she a Demoncrat before running as a Republican? We need to check all Republicans backgrounds and get rid of the RINOs. Because Texas is such a Republican state, Dems who hunger for power switch their party to Repubs in order to get elected. Wasn’t Perry a Dem before switching?

“Taking bets as to how long the Texas Association of Counties will wait to hire Casteel as a lobbyist…”

    Recount finished Friday?

Oh, I’d say about minus 72 hours..

I agree with neocon about finding out their true allegiance. That would be quite interesting. As for Casteel, she needs to be whipped at the polls.

She should demand recounts until she gets the result she wants. Hey, it almost worked for Al Gore, and it did work for a few others. Here’s an interesting chain where the Republican won, and then won again, and then lost. Guess which one counted?

Boy if that walked into my office I would run for the back door. She needs some makeup - what a sour puss look.

I’ve heard and read enough to know that captions are needed for this picture. So here is my “Top Ten” captions/sayings for this picture:

    1) No, I’m not a Democrat in drag!!!

    2) Why can’t you believe that I was sexually harassed???

    3) Wait until I talk to Fred Hill!!!!

    4) I’m not out of office yet!!! So beware!!!

    5) Are there any Republican Femi-Nazi’s out there that can help???

    6) It’s a good thing I had that “Tax Lobbyist” gig set up before the elections.

    7) I have an honest face, you can trust me. I was misquoted by my opponent.

    8) I knew I should have played the “sex” card.

    9) Yeah, I’m bitter, you would be too if you knew the truth came out!!!

    10) With a little makeup, I can look like a different person the next time I run.

I hope these captions do this picture justice.

Is she related to Helen Thomas?

  11. Robert on April 3rd, 2006 at 1:35 pm

To JRB: Yes, she is Helen Thomas’s mother.

  12. Wino on April 3rd, 2006 at 1:51 pm

I just hope she is the second (the first being all of Dan’s opponents) of many to go her way.

RINO’s beware! We have your number, and, as they said in Independence Day, “tell the others how to bring those SOB’s down!”

We ARE moderating our party mam! It just happens that YOU were at the top of the list as to where to start!

When she dresses in drag she looks like Madeline Halfbright.

Dan is NOT turning to the darkside. Don’t believe everything you read in the Comical! He has taken no special interest money - the only money he has taken is donations from people like me. He personally donated $350,000 to his campaign and raised (grass roots folks) $250,000. This is versus millions spent by his Republican adversaries. Yeah, he could crawl in bed with lobbists and get it paid off, but he has stated (and I believe him) that he will not take any lobbists’ money. Just sit back and watch!
