    Good riddance scum bags.

Too bad he only “took care of” one.

The flipside: Thank God he wasn’t in England! There he would be declared dangerous and anti-social, the thugs would be considered the victims, and he would go to jail for murder. I agree with Shakey… Jesus can come any time now IMHO. Anyway, good job jarhead!!!!!

A DISABLED man who used CS spray to fight off a robber is now facing the threat of legal action.

Wheelchair-bound Nicholas Ashworth, aged 22, sprayed his alleged attacker in the face with the CS spray.

He then climbed out of his wheelchair and limped across the road as the man screamed in pain. A passing police patrol spotted him in distress and stopped at the scene. Officers then arrested both men.

Today after being released on police bail pending further inquiries — which could result in police prosecution — Mr

Ashworth defended his use of the CS spray. He said he bought it to protect himself after being attacked in Bridgeman Street three weeks ago. On that occasion his attacker hit him in the face before pinning him back in his chair. The man then rifled through his pockets and stole £100.

Mr Ashworth, of Fletcher Street, Bolton — who can walk just a short distance without his wheelchair — said the incident left him feeling vulnerable.

Only days later he used it when a would-be robber confronted him as Mr Ashworth made his way to a nearby supermarket.

Mr Ashworth said the attacker held a knife at his throat and threatened to stab him. When he refused to hand over his money the man pushed him across the road and into bushes on the other side of the carriageway.

He said when he was threatened again he grabbed the CS canister and sprayed the man in the face.

He said: “I knew it was wrong and against the law but in my view I was acting in self defence. I thought the man was going to kill me.

“It is a sad state of affairs that disabled people like me have to carry such things like CS sprays for protection.”

A police spokesman said that they were investigating the illegal use and possession of CS spray. He also revealed that a man was on police bail pending further inquiries into the attempted robbery of Mr Ashworth.

I’ll take one jarhead over 5 jokers any day.

That shows you that you can have good training and not crack under pressure.

Why is it the liberals always show compassion to the criminal and not to his or her victim. We pamper them when they are in jail as if they deserve certain rights even though they denied certain rights to their victims. These blights on society should be treated as such and put away to protect our civilized society. Criminals, in my opinion, don’t have any rights, they gave them up when the committed crimes against society.

Take note also on how our leftwing media is immediately against our Marines in Iraq, without even allowing evidence to surface. They never give our Soldiers or Policemen the benefit of doubt. They prefer to convict them instantly. Yet, they will find hundreds of excuses for every murderer or rapist. Try to rehab one of these scumbags and they will protest in Huntsville holding their little candles and proclaiming how unjust life is.

I bet Murtha would be appalled at this. That Marine should have used his training and defused the situation and not resulted to violence. Those poor thugs were just trying to make a living to feed their families. That Marine should be thrown in the brig for that kind of extreme behavior. I demand a congressional investigation into this obvious abuse of the Marines power!

Here’s a more sympathetic story about the female STABEE who had a birthday earlier this month and was absent from her social studies final exam yesterday.

She got an real world education on social interation when she chased the guy down for extra curricular credit. I think she failed “lifes” final.

(yes I know you were being sarcastic)

  9. Tracy Carr on May 31st, 2006 at 9:11 am

The correct term is “former marine”. An ex-marine is one that is in an orange jump-suit.

  10. Rorschach on May 31st, 2006 at 9:15 am

    point taken, I’ll change it….

  11. Big45Iron on May 31st, 2006 at 9:48 am

Once a Marine, ALWAYS a Marine. Good thing for these clowns this guy wasn’t still on active duty and razor sharp. Semper fi Mr. Autry.

  12. headshaker on May 31st, 2006 at 9:49 am

The attackers were driving in a 2007 Cadillac. I’m sure drugs were involved somehow.

It’s a sad, sad story. Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time (in hell).

Take back our country, take back our streets and neighborhoods. Down with scumbags. Where do we sign up?

The stepfather’s remark says it all, “… stay away from these people who have no ambition but trouble.”

  14. bweldon on May 31st, 2006 at 10:25 am

    #7, 13,

the thing was she did not listen to those around her and as it was also put

Her stepfather, Chris Roberts, said Martin’s death resulted from “her wrong choices in friends, and being in the wrong place, with the wrong people.

    also

Early police reports indicated Martin was pregnant but the autopsy concluded otherwise, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office.

Autry sighed with relief after learning the teenager was not pregnant. “That really makes me feel a whole lot better that she wasn’t with child,” he said. “I’m sorry to her family. I just feel real bad at the situation.”

If kids are unwilling to listen to their elders then they reap what they sow.

The word OUTLAW comes from England long ago. The reason that criminals were called OUTLAWS was because they were considered outside the protection of the law. Once they broke the law, they did not deserve its protection. That was back when the English used common sense.

  16. uhliberalhater on May 31st, 2006 at 11:42 am

If the Marine were a white guy it would be a wholly different story, and the Mother would be blaming the white guy for her daughter’s death.

I’ve taught for 12 years - 1 year at Texas Youth Commission (prison for kids) and 8 at Aldine High School. I’ve seen lots of this. Notice that she was a 17 year old 10th Grader . . .

Don’t give me any melodious bull droppings about inferior schools or down-trodden socio-economic fallderall. She made choices . . . exceedingly bad ones. This was the last of many.

Unfortunately, our Marine didn’t get her low-life boyfriend.

What a great way to deliver justice!

  22. Big45Iron on May 31st, 2006 at 5:16 pm

Sometimes justice is immediate, appropriate, and unappealable! Wonder how many people they injured or killed before they ran into Corporal Autry? To put things into perspective, Autry was a cook. Even infantry MOS Marines know better than to pi$$ off a cook.

I absolutely agree, especially about the low-life boyfriend! Is it just me or does anyone else think that the parents had a responsibility to curtail their daughter other than to just tell her not to associate with this trash?

Well, now that you brought it up … What the Sam Hill was a 17 year old SOPHOMORE (she had to have failed at least once - I’m a teacher, remember. Seems this wasn’t her first challenge with choices) doing out - during finals week - at 1:00 bloody am?!?! Don’t LET her go. That means enforcing the rules of the house. My parents made it real simple and real plain: “you live under our roof, you’ll live by our rules.” That was it. There was no further aurgument. It was NOT open to debate or discussion. “Don’t like it - there’s the door. Oh, by the way, leave you’re stuff. We paid for it - it’s ours.” My parents - my mother and my step-father - were never abusive in any way. The were loving and actually very tolerant. But I also fully understood that there were rules and that there were consequences if I chose to disregard those rules. And those consequences were meated out firmly, fairly and, most importantly, consistently as I grew up. But that should have started with this young lady like it did with me - when she was still a knee-grabbin’ toddler. I’d put down a hundred dollars that she never got much of nothing in the way of discipline - that’s right - Honest-to-God Discipline. And I’d bet another hundred that all of a sudden mom and step-dad tried to throw some in last minute, which only made it worse. What’s the Bible say about “train UP a child . . .” Means start early and be consistant and persistant.

You are so right on. Parents today just want to give their kids more and more. The more they give them, the more they want. Whatever happened to kids who went in the back yard, made hills and forts and used their imagination? Not so today. They have video games and television. They do not exercise their imagination.

These parents could have prevented this, IMHO. When is it wise for the parents to tell their kids, “that isn’t good for you, we don’t want you to do it!” Then the kid says, “Up yours, I’ll do as I want!” Surely this is a breakdown in family and parents who let their kids get away with such things, bring disaster upon themselves.

  27. nztexas on May 31st, 2006 at 7:42 pm

I could never imagine telling my dad “Up yours, I’ll do as I want.” I probably still wouldn’t be able to sit down. There seem to be no consequences until some disaster like this happens and it’s too late.

You are so right on! I could never tell my dad that! Whyisit that young folk today seen like they are entitled to do this sh*T?

  29. TXAggie87 on May 31st, 2006 at 9:29 pm

I wasn’t allowed to watch more than an hour and a half of TV any afternoon. I had to do my homework, if any, then I could watch. Then I had to go outside and play. When we complained that “there’s nothing to do”, the response was “well, I can come up with some things for you”. Which meant things like cleaning and mowing - we quickly came up with stuff to do. Like NeoCon said, we played “war” and “cowboys and indians” - yes, we really called it that. Even made bows from string and sapling branches of chinaberry or salt cedar trees. Made forts in the salt cedars. Built tree houses. All kinds of things that I wouldn’t trade for 2 million Nintendos. As a teacher, that’s one of my biggest challenges - getting students to actually THINK. It’s amazing the whining and griping that goes on when you present them with a problem that doesn’t have a ready made solution and requires a little thought. You’d think they were being tortured. As far as telling dad “Up yours”, I did. I was 12 and thought since he wasn’t my “real dad”, I didn’t have to listen to him. Swung at him too. By God’s grace the former Army Drill Sargeant didn’t deck me right then and there. But I still remember to this day the whippin’ I got. I also remember that his discipline always included not only the physical punishment, but also included the discipling of his rebuilding and reinforcing the positive things and the desired choices. Unfortunately, in today’s society, all we ever hear about is the punishment phase fo discipline. Never the discipling or the positive reinforcement that MUST go with it.

How the He_ _ do you guys get me on these rants anyway? Ha!
