And it’s Friday…Are you wearing red today?

I challenge everyone to watch this video and then think of Jack Murtha’s words…..This family is proud of their son, as they should be, and THEY understood what we are fighting for. As a father, I cannot imagine the loss they feel, but I can see and understand the pride they have in their son and AMERICA!

Jane Fonda’s deeds pale in comparison to the tratorous deeds of some of our present polticians.
To reelect any of them would be slap in the faces of all of our Soldiers and their families.

Can’t watch all the video, heartbreaking. May God bless this strong outstanding family, and receive a special blessing that will enable them to endure the coming months of pain and anguish.

Any soldier I see, I walk up to them, thank them and shake their hand. I want our soldiers to wear their uniforms proudly in public.

Thank you to all the moms, dads, wives and siblings for your sacrifice.

If you see them in a restaurant, don’t let them pay!

And if you really want to help our warriors and fight for them, send your campaign contribution to Diana Irey. Murtha needs to feel our wrath!

  9. KRAUT on June 23rd, 2006 at 9:43 am

and if you see any Soldiers in a restaurant you may want to pick up their tab to show your appreciation while you shake their hands. Unfortunately not many are at home right now, but when they return we can tell them how we really feel. Hopefully soon we’ll be able to give them a huge parade and a party.

My son has worn his uniform while home on leave on a few occasions. It makes me teary-eyed and a VERY proud mom when I witness someone coming up to him and thank him for his service. He appreciates it very much, and modestly tells me (to the side) that is just one of the perks of his profession. HA HA

    Go NAVY!
Semper fi! (My boy is the son of a Marine)

God bless ALL branches of the military, and thier families!!!

Navymom, I suspect if he worn his uniform out people would be feeding him constantly, lol.

    #10 navymom,
Our Soldiers need to be encouraged to wear their unforms while at home. Unlike during Vietnam most people are very proud of our Sodiers.
God bless them and their families!

Looks like we are having the same thought at about the same time, too funny!

    #11 & 12

I LOVE seeing my son in uniform. However, according to my son, the military tells them NOT to wear uniforms while travelling, even on domestic flights, and ESPECIALLY when travelling abroad.

How sad that America is so disliked, after all we do for everyone AT HOME and ABROAD. No matter what, it is never enough.

Thanks for the appreciation on this blog from all! Our guys and gals in uniform deserve it.

  15. Big45Iron on June 23rd, 2006 at 12:47 pm

That’s mostly because of what the Islamic cowards did to Navy Diver Robert Stethem. But at home they should be able to wear their uniforms and be not just safe, but have an instant platoon to help if they need it.

  16. Big45Iron on June 23rd, 2006 at 12:51 pm

I have a very long memory for that sort of thing.

  17. navymom on June 23rd, 2006 at 1:11 pm

    Agreed.

I was worried to death when my boy went to the Persian Gulf and was on a ship that was raining down the “shock and awe” the first days of the war. Sometimes I felt that he was safer on the water than when he was in port and went on his “sight seeing” ventures. Always the one to want to see how the rest of the world lives, to experience it first hand. I worried he would be singled out by one of those nut-jobs just because he was American.

I say cut off the foreign aid and give them a REAL reason to hate us.

  18. maxkelly on June 23rd, 2006 at 7:37 pm

So does this apply only to troops’s families who AGREE with your position? Or does everyone also “owe it” to Cindy Sheehan’s dead son to listen to her?

  19. The Dude on June 23rd, 2006 at 10:39 pm

    maxkelly,

Interesting that you quoted “owe it” in your #18. Who are you quoting?

Another question: if we owe something to Cindy Sheehan’s son (and I feel we do), then why would that mean that repayment of that debt would entail listening to his mother?

Do you claim with absolute certainty that she speaks for him? I’ll tell you with 100% honesty that no one speaks for me but me. Unless you have some otherworldly connection with Casey Sheehan, I think you’re way out of line here.

  20. Dov on June 24th, 2006 at 5:06 am

Okay. Leave Cindy out of it. She has already proved she has nothing to do with Iraq/Military/Terrorist War etc

Casey died a Hero, His mother dishonors him by “using him”

G-d Bless you Casey P*$$ on you Cindy
