If your child has an abortion and later develops medical complications, such as internal bleeding - it is you the parent who is responsible for her medical care. You get to pay ALL the bills. So why should you NOT be allowed to know about the abortion?

Every action has a consequence! Even the best taught, most loved child, even those who are taught to be true Christians can make a mistake. Or believe at say age 16, that they LOVE this boy SO MUCH, and they get pregnant. At 16, or even 18 for some girls, they are not mature enough to know what they want, much less what is best for her. She needs her parents guidance and love to make the best decission for her.

I could not agree with both of you more. And I am glad that this is being seriously considered by the Senate. Also note that this is the sort of legislation that will help reduce both the # of teen pregnancies as well as abortions performed in our country. It comes back to being held accountable for your actions.

Last night while going thru the channels I stopped on CNN with Paula Zahn. She was drilling the Israeli spokesman really hard on them using phosphorous in the bombs. Of course she was showing video of a child who she claimed was burned by the bombs. Paula was really mad while she chided this guy and he kept his cool and stated they use the same bombs the USA uses and they conform to established rules of war. He them tried to explain to Zahn how the Hizballers were putting ball bearings in the rockets and firing them into Israeli residential neighborhoods to kill and mame women and children. Un phased by these facts Zahn was getting so mad her face was red as she continued to blast the Israeli spokeman on what they put in the bombs.

It just showed the utter contempt for our ally Israel and their defense of their country from child killing terrorists.

A perfect example of this liberal mindset is John Kerry’s famous statement “I actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it.”

I’m an equal opportunity basher, who prefers to bash liberal Democrats, but certain things requiring bashing (aka humor or as the “Crummyicle” refers to as editorializing) get my attention. I only wish to liven things up. If it is as the expense of the liberals than more power to me. If some people don’t see the humor in it then so be it. Remember, when I bashing the Democrats, it kind of offsets what the “Crummyicle” is doing. So for those who enjoy my “Top Ten” list, enjoy on and for those who don’t, sorry but you have to loosen up. How far we have sunk that this has to be written about and debated. We seem to have entered a world where everyone and everything must be treated as if it is of equal value. Wrong has equal value to right. What is moral and right is merely a matter of perspective. Evil must be endured as just different from us and accorded equal value, we must just agree to disagree. Where is the moral authority? It has dropped to the individual level as long as we keep it behind closed doors, nations must tolerate. Nations must even accept attacks because that is better than war. Nations must not destroy their enemies when attacked. Up is down.

AUSTIN - A new poll conducted for a pair of Texas television stations has found Gov. Rick Perry’s job approval rating declining and nowhere more than in Harris County.

The county has become a particular weak spot in the governor’s re-election campaign, largely because of conservative anger over his inability to pass property tax appraisal caps and for adopting a business tax to pay for property tax cuts.

The governor’s staff fended off an effort at the state Republican convention in June to pass a resolution against the business tax. Most of the support for the resolution came from Senate District 7, the home turf of KSEV radio talk show host Dan Patrick, who is a heavy favorite to represent the district in the state Senate next year.

#46, Note to Rick Perry.. If I am not mistaken, not a single Republican has won a state wide Texas Election without winning the Houston Metro counties, or at least splitting 50/50. I can put money on the fact that Perry is not going to win the Houston Metro area, I really think that Dewhurst will get the message with that and the fact that he may only get 50% of the vote.

We need to change leadership in Austin but the best way is to do it over 2 elections. This one and then 2008 when we can get some better conservatives in from both Houston and Dallas. That gives CLOUT, KSEV, and the grass roots movement plenty of time to get good people in races against the likes of Cradack, Fred Hill, Callegari, and others that have their heads up their collective a$$es…

Let’s see, my mom and dad are fed up with Perry, up in the hill country outside of San Antonio, and they say they will vote for the “Grandma” and my cousin is up there also, is voting “Kinky” and my daughter and I are just undecided between “Kinky” or “Grandma”. I will admit that I am working on my mom and dad to not go the path of “Grandma”. Whatever the outcome we are not voting for “Perry” I feel like there is a sharp pain in my back from him stabbing me.

Well, the parting shot is people falling (or apparently{ jumping off tall buildings to get their truck.

I am one to say lets move on with our lives after 9-11, but the image of people falling from tall buildings is a bit over the top, in my opinion. Chevy could have used some other image.

Thsi picture is beautiful to me. The man pictured here is wearing Tefillin. These are leather straps that he wraps around his arm and hand and the box upon his head has prayers in them. This comes from the Hebrew prayer V’ahavta…and you shall bind them as a sign upon your hand and between your eyes.

Tefillin is common, but why this picture is lovely…this man was most likely NOT born in Israel. He was most likely brough over as an Ethiopian refugee. Many Ethiopians claim to have Jewish roots via Queen Sheba. Some of them still practice ancient Jewish customs not knowing what they are.

Here is a man, who fled his country…a country who is being FORCED to become Islamic. Here he is fighting for Israel…a place where he can choose to be Jewish, Christian or ANYTHING he wants to be!
