   Can the term “disproportionate” be used when one side aims at military/terrorist targets while the other side aims at civilian population. Considering the poplulation makeup of the United States, you would of thought the liberal media would be, if not balanced, slightly favoring Isreal but that’s not the case–go figure it!!

   I see that Hezb’Allah is launching longer-range rockets at Israel now. I wonder if Israel will respond with something longer range, like say something that reaches Syria or Iran…

   The fear factor on these rockets is huge. The solviets provided the NVA in Viet Nam with earlier versions of the “little Katys”.

   At Da Nang we got hit nightly with at least one, sometimes four or more. This was at 1AM to 3Am. I transferred to the midnight to noon shift so I could get some sleep durring the day. It took me years to not roll off the bed onto the floor when a siren came by the house at night.

   I was preping tactical missiles for loading onto F-4s. We took turns making the tow to the prep area. We took some hits when it was my turn. Not fun. Ditch time.

   The US and Israels are fighting these wars like a bunch of dolts. Each of us have the firepower to annihilate the enemy into submission, but have thus far refused to use it. By trying to be surgical and compassionate to so-called “innocent” civilians, we are giving the enemy more time to recruit and re-stock. The so-called innocents in the Sunni Triangle and South Lebanon are probably mostly sympathizers. In either case, the only way to win a war is to kill the enemy.

   Granted there is almost always collateral damage in war. In these instances, the US and Israel, respectively, should carpet bomb the militant Islamic fundamentalist enemy in the Sunni Triangle and South Lebanon into non-existence. The corrupt despots at the UN and the dingbat ultraliberal MSM will whine either way. But a short staccato annihilation of the enemy will end things quickly and save more lives in the end.

   It will also be better from a PR standpoint than the daily grind of dead civilians and our dead soldiers that the MSM puts up. Additionally, who do Bush and Olmert thing they are kidding, as the UN and MSM will condemn whatever they do to the jihadis.

   And finally, it will tell Tehran, Kim Jong Il, and Mr. Chavez in Venezuela: don’t mess with us.

    The UN is completely useless…imagine on the news last night,they were making comments about the U.S. not doing enough for the poor and the blacks after natural disasters (i.e. Katrina)! The UN needs to tend to their own business! Kofi Anan is always looking for the camera (like Sheila Jackson Lee) and he is a showoff, only worried about his image and his agenda. They need to get rid of him fast.

    Amazing video, I would think that maybe that little voice in their head (ie Holy Spirit) was telling them to move to the shelter. My prayers go out to them. Yep that is what Truman said when he dropped the bomb, that it saved more lives in the long run.

    Greaet post! I was kind of surprised how they seem to just mosey to the shelter!!! Man I would made a swifter move than that. Glad they are alright though..
    What a mess.
    I think Israel should just pummel them, just like we should have in Iraq.
    Turn it to sand I tell ya!
