Also, we’ve heard from a mainstream media reporter who has spoken with the Perry campaign and was told that “ASS 06″ really does stand for “A Small Supporter 2006.” They are claiming this is part of their internal donor tracking system.

My, what an unfortunate coincidence if that is the case.

What does “RWO donation” mean? Whatever it is … I think I’m going to like it!

That’s “RINO donation”… that part was written by the check sender.

The “ASS 06″ was written by someone at Perry HQ.

He can kiss my “ass 06″. When he repeals the business tax that will kill some businesses in our state, enforce border control, act to keep our voting rights from being diluted by people whose allegiance is not to our country…then I’ll stop bending over.

Okay . . . the canceled checks I get back have stamps across the front of them that show they have run through the system. And this is with more than one bank. Why don’t these two-cent checks have that????

I cannot answer…I don’t get my checks back, I get the “images” with my statement. All of them look like the check above - sometimes I might get the stamps you are talking about, but most often not. It may be something to do with the new banking system using “substitute checks” where the real check never gets processesed, but a similar transaction is handled electronically. When I pull my images up from my bank, I do get notices that “this is a substitute check blah blah blah”. It’s part of the new banking procedures that went into play in the last year or two.

Does this mean that we will now find other checks labeled “AMS” for “A medium supporter”, or ALS for “A Large Supporter”?

I think anyone who has donated to Perry in the past should review the cancelled check…This could get interesting if the ONLY time that “ASS” is used is for these two-cent donations…
