Two of my least favorite things are frivolous lawsuits and an entitlement mentality. Add them together and you get another one of my least favorite things — a lefty activist group with lawyers:
Advocates for hurricane evacuees turned again to the courts Tuesday in an effort to compel federal officials to explain their reasons for denying housing assistance.
We don’t need a lawsuit. I’ll be glad to explain why housing assistance is running out. I’ll even type slowly and clearly:
BECAUSE IT’S BEEN A WHOLE DAMN YEAR.

Nice.
To put it another way, “Get a freakin’ job and support yourself!”
Doncha see whats going on? SJL and Bill White want these people here even if it means giving them a check every week and crime. They will vote for the Democrat party and keep them in power. Who knows, we might need a new stadium soon and I bet they will push the vote for the next section of the toy train too.
Follow the money and votes.
My bet is 98 percent of the “Victims of Katrina” that are still on the dole, never even tried to help themselves and as long as they can get by without doing anything to help themselves they will continue to suck the govenrment tit.
ACORN’s lawsuit is based on quite a few factors. In my review of the lawsuit, I found the “Top Ten” reasons for stopping FEMA from cutting off those benefits. The “Top Ten” reasons are:
1) They were told they were getting “reparations”.
2) They lived free on the government dole in New Orleans, so why not here.
3) It’s a “race” thing. If the evacuees were white, they would still be getting help.
4) They were never trained so how can you expect them to get work.
5) They were offerred jobs that didn’t pay them enough.
6) There was no one to take care of her ten kids while she works.
7) None of the fathers are around to help.
9) They can’t read, so how were they to know assistance was ending.
10) Mayor Nagin told them to stay here until free housing was available in New Orleans or he needed their vote.
We all know this was a publicity stunt to draw attention to these “deadbeats” who didn’t work in New Orleans so why did we expect them to work here. They lived better here then they ever did in New Orleans so why would they want to go back. Try to be nice to these people when this first happen and now they expect it forever. Sorry, we are not New Orleans so either get a job or back to Mayor Nagin.
ACORN
A Covey of Retarded Nincompoops
Attempting Creation of Returns Nfinitely (I stretched, I know)
This unprecedented “evacuation” of New Orleans after Katrina was something very new to the country. When hurricane Andrew went through Florida it destroyed numerous homes, same with Mississippi for Katrina. Where did these folks go? Somehow all of these people survived in their area (I am sure some gov’t assistance via trailers was involved). I heard the trailer cities for Andrew were around for some time and they had some criminal issues with the crowded living.) I hear of these gov’t homes just sitting on Arkansas farms that were never used. Why did the relief not use those to house all of these folks close to home and use the folks for a rebuilding workforce? A quick but not thought out answer was just to ship everyone out throughout the country and let each city deal with the problem.
I do not understand ACORN.
After 60 DAYS, you have moved, and you are to register to vote at the place you are.
Why ACORB was not guilty of vote fraud, when they bused folks in to vote for school bus Nagin, I do not know.
Under R.I.C.O all funds from crime can be impounded.
Is there any question ACORN is criminal operation?
