Going out to get some Ambien (jk)!

  2. Neocon on September 13th, 2006 at 12:48 pm

Hey, I take Ambien! Does that mean I will be getting smarter or just continue to be a smarta$$! Good news though for those PVS patients.

    For Shannon

Just in case this is #100000.
    Dump Dewhurst and Perry!!!!

Neocon, LOL, I was just thinking that if you don’t have any common sense will the Ambien give those people common sense? If it does maybe some politicians should take it. LOL. It makes smart people smarter like us, so we will be one step ahead of the common sense people. LOL.

#2, Neo for you and most of us here at LST it simply makes us more of a smart a$$… Sorry…

Isn’t that site set up just for disgruntled x-LSTers to knock LST? That is about all I ever read there.

LOL! Isn’t that what Kennedy claimed he was taking prior to his accident in DC? Certainly didn’t seem to give him more common sense! ;)

#7, I guess it woke him from his stupor…..

#3 Whether Ambien imparts a measure of common sense or just puts them in a deep sleep, it sounds like just the thing we want our politicians to have.

#6, Neo, It really has become a haven for those who would bash LST. You cannot even have a civil conversation without someone claiming that you are biased or some other claim. But when you present facts to these people they shut up, except shakey because he likes to stir the pot up…

Rick Perry is past the ambien stage (same for Grandma Many Names and Chris Ring the Bell).

Just remember that Terry Schiavo was definitely PVS and much has been made of her possible cure when there was no hope.

The cases where ambien or some other magic will work does not include people like Terry. The truthful answer is that her husband did the right thing, and we need to trust the families to decide when all other hope is lost.

With Pet scans, Cat scans, MRI’s etc.. we should be able to come up with the people who have no hope, like Terry, and those where even a small existence is possible.

Remember we all pay for the extension of life when there is no quality left.

Remember we all pay for the extension of life when there is no quality left.

How different is that from this phrase, from a German propaganda poster?

    60000 Reichmarks

this is what this person suffering from hereditary defects costs the Community of Germans during his lifetime.

Fellow Member of the German People, that is your money, too.

Yeah, I know. Godwin’s Law. But if the shoe fits…

Apples and Oranges. I am talking about someone with a feeding tube, who is blind, cannot feel pain, and no hope of recovery vs someone who you describe as possibly retarded and is aware of his or her surroundings.

Go to a facility that houses people like Terry, and I believe that logic will overcome your emotion.
