Cops on Street Bust Perps

Houston police said the man was killed outside the Chase Bank in the 7800 block of Long Point Road near Wirt Road at about 1:30 a.m. Friday.

Officers nearby heard the gunshots and chased the shooters, officials said.

Officials said three men and a woman were taken into custody. Police said two of the people had recently been released from jail and the other two have extensive criminal backgrounds.

What a concept.

About 10 years, I worked in that area. I’ll never forget the first night I had to work late into the early morning hours. On the way home, traveling the short distance between Kempwood and I-10 on Wirt Rd., I saw no less than five HPD cruisers with suspects spread eagle up against the car. FIVE.

The old Branch ain’t what it used to be.

Wow, who’d a thunk it????

Can’t help but wonder how many other HUMAN BEING’s we could have employed for the same money the red-light camera system is costing us??

As evidenced here, real humans police officers can even intercede and get involved when crimes occur.

What else can we expect with such incompetent imbeciles as we have to endure for elected officials??

I hope this doesn’t scare off the illegal aliens or they start thinking this is not a “sanctuary” city anymore—Who will build the houses, do the lawns or pick up those dishes???

Look, close the borders so we can deal with the ones that are already here, one by one, but in our city’s case, multiples at a time. It would not take a “rocket scientist” to know where they hang out or where they work. And for gosh sakes, don’t let Mexico tell us what we can or cannot do on our own borders. If they ran their country right, both countries would not have a problem.
