If you could not make it to the Close the Borders rally at Houston City Hall on October 3rd, you missed a great speech by Dan Patrick. Here is your chance to hear that 7 minute speech.
Note: Twice Dan points out that there is no room for racism in this issue.

Dan is man of principles who speaks his mind and is not concerned with what is “politically correct”. What he has been saying about the border issue is something the majority of people want but are afraid speaking out would be politically incorrect. The career politician won’t say anything for fear of losing the Hispanic vote. Prominent Hispanic leaders need to speak out against illegal aliens for others to want to do something about it.
Just like the peaceful muslims need to speak out against the terrorist ones.
Excellent! Any wonder why he won a Republican primary election with 70% of the vote?
If anyone is interested in seeing any of the other videos from the rally at Houston City Hall on Tuesday, check it out here:

(especially look at the 3rd video down of the two kids that giving everyone the Nazi salute; one of the two was holding a sign that said “Love Everyone” while giving the Nazi salute.. totally unreal.

Y’all know how I feel. I am against closed anything. It cannot work it will not work. Yankee go home leave us alone. Revive the Republic of Texas.
#5 I am sure you would feel the same way after an illegal kills or robs you.
BTW how would you protect the borders if we are a Republic again?

I am glad that Dan is stepping up and saying the things that most politicos are afraid to say. It really takes some common sense, and will power.
does the video cut off in the middle for anyone else?
I wonder if (p)Rick Perry is jealous of Dan’s hair?
Dan, Love what you have been working for. Thanks for helping clarify the ‘racial’ component. Keep uo the CLOUT fight. BUT, (monkey)isn’t it about time you learned to pronounce ast? (ask) And while we’re at it, purposely and purposefully have slightly different usages. Although very close in meaning, purposely (on purpose)tends to be used to describe an act with some level of malice attached to it. Whereas, purposefully, is more, WITH purpose i.e. goals, vision, stamina for a project. I imagine that they both come from your local dialect. Since you are in Texas now, you should start saying, ‘whenever, for ‘when’. i.e. whenever I get to 21, I’m going to….
Brian Comment 4. I don’t mean to burst your bubble but that is not a Nazi salute, it is a Mexican Flag salute. That is how they salute the flag in Mexico, same as us putting our hand over our heart.
Sorry just wanted to clear up that misconception.
TheDefender #10. I don’t mind in the slightest to have my bubble burst, if it means that I end up with the correct information. You’ll forgive my general skepticism for accuracy of comments left via blogs, but your correction has prompted me to attempt to find verification of the “Nazi-esque” style salute of Mexicans. The best I can find is represented like this: http://www.apwa.net/Images/Publications/Reporter/4.jpg
But they still have their right hand against their chest. Also, the gal in the video, once she saw me filming her, was very quick to stop saluting as she was doing, and the guy she was with was screaming “Fascism, Fascism” the entire time while doing the salute (though he should have said “socialism, national socialism” I know). Anyway, help me out with a link with more information, for accuracy is more important than pride. Thanks!
Yes, as I initially believed, I cannot agree with your (#10 Defender) description of those two with arms in the Nazi salute.
It is the Nazi salute, and not at all like the Mexican flag salute. The Mexican flag salute is clearly different, with the right hand up against the chest, in a knife like position, palm facing down.
If you have further evidence to back up your claim, I’d be more than happy to check it out.
