But what if the illegal gun was used by an illegal alien? Would he find sanctuary in Houston?

I don’t see the connection between “legally authorized gun sellers” and “illegal guns.” What makes the guns illegal if they are sold by “legally authorized gun sellers”?

  2. Rorschach on October 6th, 2006 at 1:12 pm

the desire of these asshats to ban all guns makes them “illegal” in their minds.

  3. trl3 on October 6th, 2006 at 1:14 pm

I think we should sue any mayor if a criminal commits a crime in their city.

  4. digitaldon37 on October 6th, 2006 at 1:26 pm

With this reasoning, shouldn’t we sue the GM and Ford dealer when a drunk driver kills someone?

But someobody’s probably done that already.

  5. malcolm on October 6th, 2006 at 1:30 pm

    trl3: Now you’re talking (typing)Typical liberal thinking.

Whay don’e we sue the Mayor if: Cops chase and catch criminals (especially illegals), council members staff get unauthorized raises, red light cameras don’t raise enought revenue, etc, etc.
IE Californis’s trying to sue the car manufacturers for the elevation of green house gas esemissions. What would happen if all of the car manufacturers quit selling new cars in California? Would they try and sue the used car dealers instead?

If guns kill people then forks made Rosie O’Donald Fat

  7. Robert on October 6th, 2006 at 1:36 pm

What about if the gun is stolen? And how can you sue someone who does everything legally correct? Maybe the gun seller should require the buyer to sign a statement saying he is not going to use the gun in an unlawful way. That should take the burden off the seller.

Here’s a novel idea, why don’t they sue the criminal who used the gun illegally and go after his fortune (after all his gains are probably ill gotten). This is why people hate lawyers. If there’s a buck to be made, the lawyer is waiting in the wings to make it.

  8. malcolm on October 6th, 2006 at 1:43 pm

Whay don’e?? Where did that come from? SHB= Why don’t!
/ to self: Next time read before you hit submit button.

  9. trl3 on October 6th, 2006 at 1:43 pm

Maybe we should sue the doctor that delivers any baby that later turns into a criminal.

Maybe we should sue any store that ever sells anything that is later used in a criminal act.

Shaddup You FREAKIN’ PEASANTS! They prefer you unarmed and uneducated. Get back to work and pay your taxes!

Just more delusions from the liberal elitists that would have all of us helpless and more dependent on the government. Remember, we are all too stupid to know any better. The liberals in power like White know best how we should be told to live our lives. Shame on us for having the audacity to assume we could think for ourselves.

  13. trl3 on October 6th, 2006 at 2:05 pm

This iritates me so bad that in order to calm down I will have to go out and buy a new gun and more ammunition.

Sent in my next five year’s membership($125) to the NRA this week. R. O’Donnell had her mug on TV this week calling for more gun control. Perhaps we need more calorie control with a little more lesbian control while we’re at it.

  15. Rorschach on October 6th, 2006 at 2:29 pm

who knew munching had so many calories?

ok, I know I’m gonna burn for that one…

  16. southerntragedy on October 6th, 2006 at 2:30 pm

Guns don’t kill people. People kill people…

  17. fasternu426 on October 6th, 2006 at 3:05 pm

Guns don’t kill people, liberals do.

9 out of 10 despots prefer unarmed peasants.

A man with a gun is a citizen, an unarmed man is a subject.

  18. trl3 on October 6th, 2006 at 3:19 pm

I am all for gun control.

A firm grip and gentle trigger squeeze.

  19. jimb on October 6th, 2006 at 3:37 pm

Nagin AND Laura Miller. These people aren’t worthy of holding office…

  20. Rorschach on October 6th, 2006 at 4:13 pm

Yep! Emporer White has a lot of “August” company don’t he?

  21. southerntragedy on October 6th, 2006 at 4:40 pm

Gun Control means never having to say I missed you!

  22. Neocon on October 6th, 2006 at 4:45 pm

How much you want to bet that all these mayors are liberal dims?

  23. Rorschach on October 6th, 2006 at 5:10 pm

    no bet.

  24. PBFloyd on October 6th, 2006 at 5:15 pm

#22 Neo; I think you can safely bet the house on it……!

  25. aggie_daddy on October 6th, 2006 at 8:29 pm

See, boys and girls, the problem IS:

When we throw the twitwits out, they’ll just go back to their primary careers, sucking eggs at somebody else’s expense (lawyering).

Except for Nagin. He’ll probably go to work for/with Calypso Louie or Jesse “shakedown” Jackson.

  26. Sluth on October 6th, 2006 at 8:56 pm

I have a novel idea: Let us arrest those that posess illegal guns, commit crimes with guns, and a combination there of. Now who would we have left?

Simple: Those with legal guns and don’t commit crimes.

Thoughts? Tough, isn’t it to just enforce the simple laws that have been on the books for centuries!

  27. plonker on October 6th, 2006 at 11:59 pm

Let’s sue Mayors for what their downline people do!

  28. willsin on October 7th, 2006 at 9:43 am

I have a better idea: Let the victim of any crime sue the Mayor, City, and Police Chief because they have known for years of our inadequate number of police officers and have done little to fix the problem.

Bet that will get their attention.

  29. Neocon on October 7th, 2006 at 11:14 pm

I’m with you plonker and Willsin!
