the only one who showed himself to be even 1/2 way qualified to be Gov is DumbBell… Trouble is, he’s a democrat.

Kinky did get the best line in, though- He threw out the old joke about how politics is a combo of two words, ‘poly’ meaning ‘many’, and ‘ticks’, aka ‘blood sucking parasites’…

  4. Neocon on October 7th, 2006 at 11:21 pm

I’m still voting Kinky! It is better than voting for those who have already lied to us.

  5. press 1 for english on October 8th, 2006 at 2:27 am

Perry, Strayhorn, Bell are career politicians. Enough said, time for new blood. KINKY!
The problem with politics is it’s full of politicians. It’s time for Kinky!
    Signed: A disgruntled republican!

    WAKE UP!

  6. Mike Smith on October 8th, 2006 at 6:38 am

    Hey!!! That’s a bumper sticker!

    Another disgruntled Republican for Kinky

Where’s my “bumper sticker making” program????

  7. Mike Smith on October 8th, 2006 at 7:02 am

    Another Disgruntled
    Republican
    For Kinky

Bumper sticker idea, with the Republican elephant in red-white-blue on the left side of the sticker. “For Kinky” will be in a font that is 1-2 sizes larger than the first 2 lines.

I’m going to I-45 Signs on Monday to see if I can get 10 or 25 of these made. If any of you see me with one on my F-250 and want one, just honk. I should have some with me.

  8. Jaime on October 8th, 2006 at 8:08 am

Ha ha ha ha ha ha. I love that pic.

I’ll take the wooden nickel. Oh, why the heck not.

#3 The only reason DumbBell came out looking so good was the softball questions lobbed at him, but his true colors came out, anti-business, big government, and all this with an 11 billion dollar surplus. Goes to show he has no clue of what is going on in Austin.

Perry just flat out lied about the border, TTC, and said nothing about appraisal creep.

Ganny does what is only polictically expediant, ie, flip-flopper.

That leaves Kinky. Might have been nervous, fumbled through his words, but just did not look governor-like.

I may have to for Kinky, cause “None of the Above” in not on the ballot.

  11. vlou on October 8th, 2006 at 9:30 am

The reason Kinky was not a smooth talker (fumbled for his words) is that he is NOT A POLITICIAN!

    GO KINKY!

  12. vlou on October 8th, 2006 at 9:42 am

One other thing before I go to church to pray for all Texas in their choice for governor…that person who wrote in that he thought Kinky might be a bad example to youngsters for smoking a cigar…to you sir, I say it is up to you to talk to your child and tell him that real people do things like that but it is not something you would encourage him to do. The child is going to see people do other things you don’t approve of as well and that are against your morals, but we don’t live in a perfect world. You need to educate your children yourself. Don’t leave it up to any leader even if you object to what they are looking at.

  13. jimb on October 8th, 2006 at 12:50 pm

Kinky’s a no-go because, in addition to my other problems with him, he promises to do all this stuff that NO governor will be able to pull off in Texas…

  14. One Voice on October 8th, 2006 at 1:01 pm

For this I had to miss “Ghost Whisperer?”

  15. trl3 on October 8th, 2006 at 1:35 pm

Perry is a no go because he is a LIAR, the trans Texas corridor land grab, and because he is a tax raising RINO.

Bell is a no go because he is a liberal and does not represent Texas.

Kinky may not be as true a conservative as I would like but he has said plainly what he would try to accomplish, he is not a polititian and he would be a 1 term governor.

Maybe it is time to send a message without necessarily shooting ourselves in the foot.

I enjoyed a good cigar once — I turned a very lovely shade of green! I still like the smell, though, it reminds me of my dad.

    To All:

Don’t you just wish we had a “None of the Above” selection on the ballot, just so we could send the two guys backed by a political party home. Make the pols send us someone acceptable.

The border fence bill is a perfect example of why the lying incumbents need to go. They passed the bill, Ciphering Slick Jethro signed it and they all high-fived each other.

Problem is, they added so many loop holes to the bill, you can fly a Jumbo Jet through it. By doing so, they have assured the fence will never be built.

Even after one of Houston’s finest was slain by an illegal alien, these lying sons and daughters of the Father of lies are still playing their games and putting American lives at risk. They are our modern day Pharisees. They practice self righteousness outwardly, but inwardly they are a brood of Vipers, IMO.

They think we the people are to stupid to see what they are doing. They insult our intelligence by voting to build a fence, knowing they never really intend to build it. They mock and spit on us, believing us to be total ignoramuses. They laugh at you if you vote for them again because you prove them right.

Ciphering Slick Jethro and the rest of the liars should tear down every fence they have around their private property and install virtual fences. After all, that is what they want for you and me. I will never vote for any one of the disciples of lying again. All they practice is lies and deception.

I hope Kinky wins in a landslide. He may have dressed a little offbeat, smoke a cigar and he may have stumbled a little, but so what. A vote for a career politician, like any of the ones we have in D.C, or in the Governor’s mansion in Texas, is a vote for the death of American sovereignty.

John 3:19-21 “For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

Where can I meet you to buy one of your bumper stickers? I’d at least like to cover your cost on the thing. GREAT idea! Plus it would pi$$ off my democrazy Ex and her family AND my blindly pullin’ the lever RINO family members. Gotta have one!

The problem with politics is it’s full of politicians..WillRogers.
Perry/Strayhorn/Bell are all career politicians. Kinky is Da Man! A straight shooter. We need that!
I am a disgruntled republican, Perry has not done enough. property tax etc…………
he’s had 6 years to Git-er-done! Too Late, times up. Kinky has my VOTE!

  22. Mike Smith on October 9th, 2006 at 6:50 am

I’ll post when I get the bumper stickers. I’d be happy to mail them to y’all {unless there is a brewhaha planned for the next week or two}.

  23. texaskaz on October 9th, 2006 at 10:11 am

Sorry for delay in posting..was having massive fun times in the Sukkah.

    Still voting for Kinky.

LOVED that he looked “un governmental”. Loved that he fumbled with his words. So do I.

Slicky hari Perry is so smug and slick, even his sideways stance at the podium was smug.

Grandma would be great running the teachers union or PTA.

Bell, is just so dang whiney voice I could not take years of that…but he may get all the Katricians votes. I still think that is why Mayor White opened up the city gates…to bring in gobs of DEMS.

But I am like Grandma…an EX DEM, now soon to be X REP. I am now IND…probably really always was, just did not realize it. Always voted by candidate, not party ticket.

I heard on the radio on Chris Baker’s show that soemone said to him Texas would never elect a Jew for Gov. Craziest thing I ever heard…I don’t take into account faith when I vote. Must be honest though, prolly would not vote for a Mohamed.

fyi…as one of them there Jews, Kinky is not “that” Jewish! So I am NOT voting for him because he IS. I am voting for him for non-religious reasons.

I have heard interviews with him, I even saw him treat one of my handicapped students so sweet. He was at a local liquor/party store. My handicapped student went ( he is wheelchair bound with MD or MS). Kinky gave him gobs of autographed things, talked with him on end…and just made him feel like a king. It was so sweet.

    Go Kinky!

I think we will be surprised at the Kinky vote.

    Mike Smith,

Kindly email me at info@akelasbiggins.com and I’ll send you my address and I’ll gladly pay you for one of your bumper stickers. Very well done, sir.

  27. Mike Smith on October 10th, 2006 at 5:29 am

    OK

  28. Mike Smith on October 10th, 2006 at 5:31 am

    {try this again}

OK, I’m not charging for these stickers. It is my contribution to Kinky’s campaign.

The first 20 people that email me get one. Email is mws@wt.net Make the subject “Kinky bumper stickers” or something like that, so I don’t just delete it out of my spam filter.
