    let’s not forget plagerism too!

    First!

  2. Dave D on October 17th, 2006 at 9:29 am

    Ya gotta love her!

  3. Robert on October 17th, 2006 at 9:30 am

Not much will be made of this because Queen Sheila is a black, female Democrat—period!!!!

  4. tedtam on October 17th, 2006 at 9:35 am

I still remember when she showed up late to some dignitary’s dinner, insisted on sitting at ther designated seat near the honoree (interrupting the dinner in progress, but getting all the attention), then asking her hostess to pose for pictures with her high self before leaving.

And let’s not forget how she always gets a seat near the aisle at the State of the Union speeches so she can be seen with the president, no matter if he’s in her party or not.

The arrogance and gall. Posing is not a qualification for office.

  5. Neocon on October 17th, 2006 at 9:40 am

But, but, tedtam, shes the QUEEN! Doesn’t that mean anything to you! I only wonder why the President doesn’t bow down to her when he is coming down the aisle! /tongue firmly planted…..

  6. Robert on October 17th, 2006 at 9:40 am

As long as Queen Sheila is in a “safe” district, we will all have to put up with her antics. Her constituents obviously don’t mind being represented by a person who is one of the laughing stocks of the Democratic party. She obviously provides me with good material.

My bad. I’m so sorry. I temporarily lost my mental faculties and was under the impression that reason and logic still reigned. I forgot that when it comes to politics, especially democrap politics, idiocy and irrationality take priority.

Flog me, please, so I may be worthy to utter THE NAME again!
    /sarc off

John Effing Kerry voted for rain before he voted against it.

  9. 2N2it on October 17th, 2006 at 10:17 am

This woman needs to follow C. Mckinney, and LOSE!
Unfortunately, she has enough mindless voters to keep her in the midst, which won’t allow her the opportunity to gain any knowledge since there is no need of intelligence for her job classification.

  10. Rastus on October 17th, 2006 at 10:20 am

What else would you expect? As to her being the laughing stock of the Demoncrat Party, I’m sorry to disappoint you but she is actually the mainstream of the Demoncrat Party - that’s the really bad news. Even worse, at any given time, about 40% of the people out there will believe her, even if she’s talking about the American flag planted by astronauts on Mars during the late 1960’s.

  11. RickG on October 17th, 2006 at 10:24 am

She is in line to be head of, I think, the Homeland Security Subcommitte (but I welcome - beg for - a correction if I am wrong).

Yes, vote Democrat. Teach the Republicans a lesson!

Why don’t you poke a fork in your eye while you’re at it.

  12. Neocon on October 17th, 2006 at 10:30 am

    RickG

You are not wrong, which is why I won’t vote democrap in the national elections. There is just too much riding on our security to turn it over to the communists/Stalnistas.

I will vote for #2 on the polls in the Texas gubernatorial race.

  13. Kevin Whited on October 17th, 2006 at 10:30 am

Did Sheila Jackson Lee’s staffer pick up that technique from the Rick Casey School of Appropriating Without Proper Attribution?

  14. No Higher Tax on October 17th, 2006 at 10:44 am

It is a wonder she didn’t ask homeland security to do something about the excess rain as it causes flooding.

  15. Rastus on October 17th, 2006 at 11:04 am

#14 - She probably couldn’t figure that one out on her on - cause and effect is asking quite a bit from her don’t you think?

  16. Rorschach on October 17th, 2006 at 11:14 am

#14 Sure! after all Karl Rove has that big weather machine that makes hurricanes and such, surely that can make the rain go away! =D

  17. tedtam on October 17th, 2006 at 11:40 am

Too bad he doesn’t have a big pain machine, that make big pains go away!

  18. malcolm on October 17th, 2006 at 12:04 pm

#14 She was too busy petitioning congress to go get the flag we left on Mars! =D

  19. stwilhelm on October 17th, 2006 at 12:13 pm

She wants to put a sign at the intersection where the two women died yesterday warning that there could be high water. Now, I am not at all insuating that these two hispanic women were illegal or non-english speaking, but my assumption is that the sign may have had to been written in both English and Spanish as well as having a bright spotlight on it because it was pitch dark when the accident occured before it could have saved their lives.

  20. Matt "Zilla" Bramanti, CPO™ on October 17th, 2006 at 12:16 pm

Dammit, Rorschach, how many times do I have to tell you? DO NOT MENTION THE WEATHER MACHINE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

  21. Royko on October 17th, 2006 at 12:28 pm

I suffered through a tv news report, referencing Queen Sheila and her looney call for the feds to squander our precious tax money, again!

It seems that it would be easy for the TXDOT to simply use the reflective type of road marking material on both the pavement and the walls so as to show where the water line is, and how deep the flooded portion has become.

That advice didn’t cost taxpayers a penny!

  22. Rorschach on October 17th, 2006 at 12:38 pm

#20 Matt, haven’t you seen the latest message? we are to talk it up as if it is a joke in order to discredit it.

  23. asquires on October 17th, 2006 at 12:39 pm

Drive at night in the rain with caution. –and…Accidents happen.

  24. Rorschach on October 17th, 2006 at 12:42 pm

why not just add a few lights so you can see the water?

  25. shannon on October 17th, 2006 at 1:15 pm

I have a novel idea. Build the freeways to withstand a 9″ rain event.

  26. fasternu426 on October 17th, 2006 at 1:22 pm

After a while, makin fun of Sheila is like waiting for a kid to get off the short bus and beat him up. Yeah, you can do it, but????

  27. fasternu426 on October 17th, 2006 at 1:23 pm

Give all the squeegie guys sponges to sop up all the water…..

  28. shannon on October 17th, 2006 at 1:40 pm

    26
    LOL

  29. Big45Iron on October 17th, 2006 at 1:41 pm

Hey, don’t be so quick to blame Queen Sheila. Could be that Joe Biden was using her office.

  30. Robert on October 17th, 2006 at 2:48 pm

One wonders if Queen Sheila has someone on her staff monitoring police radio band to find photo ops for her. She had all that rain gear on knowing there was a photo op and she wanted to benefit from some else’s misfortune. You got to wonder about all the circumstances that lead up to this tragedy???

  31. CRK on October 17th, 2006 at 2:48 pm

Oh come on now, the storm was just another opportunity to get her ugly ass face in front of some more TV cameras. What could be wrong with that? I’m so glad I moved outta her district.

  32. phil on October 17th, 2006 at 2:59 pm

And no matter what she does the sheep will continue to vote her in.

  33. Wino on October 17th, 2006 at 11:56 pm

Has anyone else noticed that around June or so, every two years, Queen Shiela starts her appearances? You can’t fart in an elevator in October without her majesty showing up with a gas mask and digicam team in tow.
