Disturbing
by The Panda Man · 11/02/2006 11:12 amI sense a disturbance in the Force.

“Now you will die!”
No, not that Force. The political Force.

“Why doesn’t Bush just die?”
Yes, Helen Thomas herself is in Houston to instruct young padawans in the ways of the Dark Side.
The title of her latest book, Watchdogs of Democracy? The Waning Washington Press Corps and How It Has Failed the Public, makes it clear she’s an equal opportunity critic.
Now she is bringing her observations to the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.
Thomas left United Press International after 57 years as White House correspondent and now writes a column for Hearst newspapers, including the Houston Chronicle.
She will speak at 11:30 a.m. Thursday. Tickets are $50 for members of the Houston Intown Chamber of Commerce and $65 for nonmembers.
Surely an investment with high returns.
“The bulk of her career, she was a reporter for UPI,” he said. “She is now a columnist. She’s free to express her opinion now, but the years I worked with her, she was a wire service reporter and … she wrote just down the middle.“
Helen Thomas, objective reporter.
THIS JUST IN: From the Harris County Office of Emergency Management, a Helen Thomas alert has been issued for east Houston.
Location of toxic ideas release
Residents are advised to “shelter in place” and remain indoors. Children and pets should not be allowed outside. Radios and televisions should be turned off to avoid accidental exposure. Houston residents who have not already evacuated to New Orleans should remain where they are. The cloud of dangerous ideas is expected to dissipate later today, and emergency crews are standing by to enter the area as soon as it is safe. Applications for Federal Disaster Area funds are pending. Please stay tuned for further details as they become available.

I can’t stop throwing up in my mouth thinking about Tony Snow finding any part of Helen Thomas’s anatomy edible. URP!
#1 Rors: You’re a better man than me. I couldn’t bring myself to make any comment! BUT, Now that I’m here… there is a pretty good resemblance in the two photos. Plus, there is one good thing about her physical appearance…she never had to invest in a halloween mask. NEVER!
/snicker
You are part of the Rebel Alliance and a traitor… take him away…..
I found it interesting how Aunt Hagatha silently slinked into retirement right after Tony Snow gave her a good verbal spanking a few months ago. Coincidence? I think not.
I’ve seen better looking faces on an iodine bottle.
Helen Thomas…just being herself, no need to masquerade.
Is that a real picture of her? Anyone that ugly should be in a tomb. What’s the old saying about a dog that ugly and shaving it’s behind?
I was debating which Star Wars quote to use under Helen’s picture. What do you think of this one:
“You’re all clear kid, now let’s blow this thing and go home!”
I thought Halloween was over or were those masks nobody would buy because they’re too scary??
Whose going to buy Helen Thomas’s book?? She is not running for office so there’s no need to pump money into her campaign via book sales like past Democrats have done. Maybe she’s trying to save up for a “facelift”, in which case, she had better sell a lot of books.
Jeshhhh you guys! Leave the poor old woman alone!! She can’t help but have wrinkles like that since she is about 450 years old!
I can’t reach my wife in child in Crosby!!!!
Are they far enough away to be out of danger???
I don’t know - that is a nice shade of red lipstick. Halloween is over but Thanksgiving is coming up - note the turkey gobbling chins. Is that really a woman?
Gold Leader: [stands up to ask question at briefing before attacking Death Star] Pardon me for asking, sir, but what good are snub fighters going to be against that?
Darth Helen:
Don’t be too proud of this technological terror you’ve constructed. The ability to destroy a president is insignificant next to the power of the Force of Journalism.
Admiral Howard Dean:
Don’t try to frighten us with your sorcerous ways, Lord Helen. Your sad devotion to that ancient religion has not helped you conjure up the stolen data tapes or given you clairvoyance enough to find the President’s hidden agen—
[Dean grasps his throat as if strangled by an invisible hand.]
Darth Helen:
I find your lack of faith disturbing.

Haa…
Master Yoda: “Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering.”
Been wanting to say this all evening! It is distrubing to me that I find the first picture much more attractive than the second! Whew! Glad that is fof my chest!
Astute as ever, Neo!!!
Of course, if her writing career ever falters, it is a sure bet that she could get a job posing for totem poles!!
O:
In the bottom picture, Helen Thomas looks like the female version of John Murtha.
#17, now that is even insulting to Murtha. I might hate the man’s guts and would love to see him defeated. but that is a low blow even for him.
