Is this only the “tip of the iceberg” as far vote buying goes?? This is how the Democrats keep getting votes—-Handouts and freebies with strings attached—-If you want this to continue, you got to vote for us. When the liberal media reports on this, they always say the “conservatives” are behind all this. The “conservatives” don’t want you to have all this. The “conservatives” only care about the rich.

    Mid Eastern Terrorists Support Democrats!

JERUSALEM – Everybody has an opinion about next Tuesday’s midterm congressional election in the U.S. – including senior terrorist leaders interviewed by WND who say they hope Americans sweep the Democrats into power because of the party’s position on withdrawing from Iraq, a move, as they see it, that ensures victory for the worldwide Islamic resistance.

The terrorists told WorldNetDaily an electoral win for the Democrats would prove to them Americans are “tired.”

They rejected statements from some prominent Democrats in the U.S. that a withdrawal from Iraq would end the insurgency, explaining an evacuation would prove resistance works and would compel jihadists to continue fighting until America is destroyed.

    ~snip~

“This is why American Muslims will support the Democrats, because there is an atmosphere in America that encourages those who want to withdraw from Iraq. It is time that the American people support those who want to take them out of this Iraqi mud,” said Jaara, speaking to WND from exile in Ireland, where he was sent as part of an internationally brokered deal that ended the church siege.

I’ve never had the flu in my life…and I’ve never had a flu injection and don’t intend ever getting one either…not that my decision affects you up there! ;)

  12. southerntragedy on November 2nd, 2006 at 7:13 pm

#11: Sunny, why did you just say that? Now you are destined to get it this year!

The flu vaccine is made to the “projected” type of flu that will hit. Last year or year before, I took my mom to get the shot. She got a different kinda flu. Almost killed her. I’m a rebel. I’ll take my chances. Also, the only kind of health plan that I have is that I PLAN on not getting sick!

  13. sunny on November 2nd, 2006 at 7:16 pm

lol southerntragedy…nope…I say it all the time! ;) I have the same health plan as you…strange that…and countries apart! ;)

Good info all the same!! Does speak volumes for what is at stake here…….Dr. John Hagee spoke on Savage tonight, and said something profound, I thought.

He said, ‘vote this election as if your life depended on it’; I believe he may just be right.

Good info: hat tip to you, Neo!!

    Flu Shots at Polling Places
    http://www.fox12news.com/Global/story.asp?S=5622475

Idaho — When you vote next Tuesday, you can also protect yourself from influenza by getting a flu shot.

Thanks to a government grant, 17 states, including Idaho, will be offering flu vaccines at certain polling places.

This baby boomer dislikes shots and refuses to be innoculated for anything else (already had my DPT shots years and years ago as an infant, but never had MMR shot or any of the others). Through great genes, been healthy for 60 years and intend to stay that way. Three of my friends have had flu shots and the flu got them anyway (one of them had to be hospitalized and almost left us). Wash your hands frequently and avoid crowds when possible.
