Mrs. Bill Clinton is my most favorite subject when it comes to writing “Top Ten” lists. So here is my “Top Ten” list of captions for her picture and in the spirit of the situation:

    1) If there was ever a “right wing conspiracy”, it’s “LST”!!!!

    2) How can I win any election, if I have to fight the “LST” people??

    3) The “truth” hurts and “LST” is providing most of that pain!!

    4) Maybe if I start promoting “LST”, it will turn the conservatives off.

    5) Well, I guess Texas is a lost cause in 2008.

    6) What Congressional legislation can I propose to stop “LST”??

    7) I think we need a Senate investigation into “LST”s activities.

    8) I just send Bill down to Houston to sexually harrass those “LST” women.

    9) Maybe if I’m lucky, “LST” won’t be around in 2008.

    10) What blogs can I promote to offset “LST”s influence on the American people??

I hope she enoys what I wrote for her??? Please feel free to add to my list.

    Hello you all,
not a rebublican, don’t hate Hillary, don’t think the economy is doing so very well because hey- half the country HAS NO INSURANCE. I personally witnessed an elderly man walk out of a dr’s office because he could not afford the chemo drug needed to combat his cancer. That medicare/ medicade welfare myth is just that, a myth. Americans are dying in this country and the terrorists are sitting on corporate boards. Domestically wages have not kept up with the cost of living. I am not impressed with a $300.00 rebate when the likes of reporter Bob Novak, can you say Valarie Plame?- got $30,000.00. Better to take that budget surplus, the first one in years, and invest in alternative energy, or repaying the money stolen out of the social security trust fund. But noooo, I got my 300.00 which did not even pay my electric bill. Facts- I can give them. I am just tired of trying to live with the effects of lies- remember WMD?

    Ah, where to begin?

First of all, your figures on the prevalence of health insurance are just plain wrong. You claim half the country is uncovered. The actual figure is less than 16 percent. Children fare better than the population at large — only 11 percent of kiddos are without coverage. Here’s some trivia for you: the uninsured rate never got higher than it did during the Clinton administration.

On to the economy: Believe it or not, the presence of health insurance is not the accepted measure of an economy. Real GDP is, and it’s growing (1.6 percent last quarter).

Employment is at levels that were thought unreachable only decades ago (unemployment is only 4.4 percent). Inflation is reasonable (3.9 percent) and interest rates are quite low. Homeownership is at record levels (69 percent), particularly among minorities.

You gripe about the rich getting a bigger tax cut than you. Even after the Bush tax cuts, the top 5 percent of American wage earners pay more than 50 percent of all personal income taxes in the country. That’s a relative handful of people picking up the lion’s share of the national tab.

The top 50 percent of wage earners pay about 96 percent of taxes. That means that half of this country pays virtually nothing.

Yeah, Bob Novak’s tax cut was bigger than yours. But he pays more in taxes every quarter than you make in a decade.
