I placed my votes. I like the options to place negative votes, and I certainly placed a few of those…
Message for the Republicans:
1) Return to the core principles: smaller government, personal accountability, lower taxes, etc.
2) If you don’t have a backbone, well, Ijust heard that there’s a womb transplant in the works. Surely spinal implantations are not far behind. Until you grow one or have one surgically implanted, either stay the hell out of office or borrow one from a friend.
3) WHEN conservatives regain control again, don’t be afraid of the media not liking you. They don’t like you anyway. Most of them are liberal mouthpieces and will twist whatever you say. If you say “Hillary is the best thing since sliced bread,” they’ll report “Republicans want to cut Hillary into pieces and feed her to the birds.” We, the conservative base are listening for you already.
4) Never, NEVER forget where you came from! Your roots, and the roots of conservatism, are where your strength comes from.
5) Keep in touch with your constituents. Don’t let yourself get isolated from “the people”.
6) Make all of your transactions transparent, and avoid any semblance of impropriety. If you can’t govern honestly, don’t even try. We’ve got enough of that on the other side of the aisle, and WE won’t stand for it.

Remember last month John McCain promised to commit suicide if the Democrats won? How can he be in this straw poll? If he is a man of his word, he will be pushing up daisies in 2008. Just a thought.

i did this for 6 months straight and obviously they still didnt listen.
i’m through for a while. its up to them to figure out theyre throwing the country out with the bathwater, they wouldnt listen to me. let me know if they catch a clue before its too late, i’m going skiing.

How about Newt for President and Rudy for VP? I know people are against Rudy because his social views do not sit will with conservatives. However, I think it would offer great appeal to moderates and blue-dog democrats. Downsides are that both have ambitions for the Whitehouse and both are roughly the same age, 62, so that if Rudy stuck around for 8 years as VP then decided to run for the top job, he’d be 73 when sworn into office.

HAHAHA! When have republicans ever been about any of these “core principles”? Even under the conservative icon Reagan, spending increased exponentially. Clinton did a much better job with govenrment spending than any conservative/republican.
Personal accountability??? When will Bush Jr. be held accountable for this war? Why wasn’t Daddy Bush held accountable for not getting the job done during the 1st Persian Gulf war? Why wasn’t Reagan held accountable for Iran-Contra?

It really amazes me how so many Democrats think they know what Christians will or will not do. Its really comical to listen to them. People who are Democrats that stay Democrats when surrounded by so much truth really are dumb4life…
