    You are right, I got this today;

It is the VETERAN , not the preacher,
who has given us freedom of religion.

It is the VETERAN , not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the VETERAN , not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the VETERAN , not the campus organizer,
who has given us freedom to assemble.

It is the VETERAN , not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is the VETERAN , not the politician,
Who has given us the right to vote.

    It is the VETERAN ,
    who salutes the Flag,

God bless them. Each and every one. And their families, who serve also, but in very different ways. I thank all veterans and present military for your service with much gratitude.

God Bless Veterans, each and every one! God bless each and every person who serves in our military! Thank God for YOU! Without you, this country could not exist. Thanks to you who are serving and thanks to you who have served. Above all, thanks to our veterans!

Blessings upon those who did serve, now serve, and will serve in the armed forces of the United States. Without their sacrifices we would not and will not be free people.

As an aside, it is the Second Amendment to the Constitution that protects the rest of the Bill of Rights and by extension protects the rest of the Constitution.

#1 Dave that is fantastic and thanks for sharing…

To all of our many Brave soldiers who have died for us and to all of you who are still with us. We love you more than words can say and we thank you forever. To Cpl. Jason Dunham you are the definition of a hero, thank you dear one and may God bless and comfort your mother and father who raised such a wonderful young man. And I also look forward to meeting you in Gods house…
