I have only two things to say about McCain:

    1. Keating Five - remember that he is a corrupt politician.

    2. Even so, if he runs against Hitlery, I’ll vote for him, but not if any other dhimmicrat is against him. I don’t support corrupt republicans except in dire circumstances.

  2. ThunderHawkk on November 12th, 2006 at 4:21 pm

Thanks to the Republicans blowing everything, now we have no choice but to vote for WHOever they nominate against The Beast… McCain, Guiliani, ANYone must be supported because the Senator from New York by way of Arkansas IS THE BEAST DESCRIBED IN THE BIBLE!

Something happened in her teen years to turn her from a Goldwater Girl to a raging communist lunatic…. I don’t know if she was molested by a conservative, or if another Goldwater girl stole her boyfriend, or what… But something happened that caused her to vow to destroy America….

    We must fight The Beast!

Well Bill sure has something the women like. Look what he did to that sweet Jewish girl.

  4. Yellowdogdem on November 12th, 2006 at 5:46 pm

#2-I hope you are being facetious.(joking or jesting often inappropriately ). Just in case you didn’t know what a big word like that means.

  5. southerntragedy on November 12th, 2006 at 6:06 pm

Is John McCain that different from Hillary? Afterall, they were buddies….WHere’s Newt?
What’s the mesmirization of Obama? He hasn’t even been if office that long, and may run for President? Geeeez…

  6. ThunderHawkk on November 12th, 2006 at 6:14 pm

You think facetious is a big word?

  7. Al Williams on November 12th, 2006 at 6:18 pm

I saw a straw poll that had McCain and Frist tied for last place.

Rudy Guiliani was in first place… He may be a little to lib(ertarian) for you Tally-ban types, but he can kick Hitlary’s a$$ nationwide- and even in New Yawk…

I will throw out the ‘clueless woman’ voter thing again… There’s enough clueless women who will vote for Hitlary just because she’s a chick.

That’s not saying that the lovely ladies who visit LST are clueless wimmins, it’s obvious y’all aren’t clueless because you’re paying attention to the world around you. The ‘clueless women’ voter would rather watch Entertainment Tonight to see what Britney, J-Lo, or that Timberlake sissy are up to than pay attention to the things that really matter!

  8. southerntragedy on November 12th, 2006 at 6:38 pm

#7 Al: Glad to see you CYA on that one about Hillary “and clueless women”, but you do make an interesting point about other not so smart women.

As for #2: ever thought about her being married to Bill Clinton, having something to do with her bad attitude? I’d have to maime him. (I don’t kill people, just maime) Well, unless you broke into my house….

  9. Dave D on November 12th, 2006 at 6:46 pm

#8 southerntragedy, One of my favorite movies was “Uncle Buck” I love the scene when he drills out the lock in the door and tells the young punk, I don’t like to kill, just to maim!
BTW; Bill and Hitlery were made for each other narcissists comes to mind.

  10. Neocon on November 12th, 2006 at 6:57 pm

McCain is an imbecilie! I would rather not vote than to vote for him. He has a real problem with his temper — so short fused, as to be crazy. Republicans know about his temper and his shortsightedness. He cannot be trusted with this nation’s security. Whatever he experienced as a POW has short-circuited his brain. He is freakin’ scary!

What are the Chances of a Hillary-Bill ticket ?

  12. southerntragedy on November 12th, 2006 at 7:06 pm

#10 Neo…thanks! I concur! WHat do you think his chances are getting on the ticket?

    Little to none!

    Just Say No

Vote for a moderate?_ _ _NO
    Vote for mediocre_ _ _ _ _NO
    Vote while holding nose?_ _NO

    Conservatives vote for conservatives.
That message needs to be sent loud and clear
to all who are preparing for the primaries.

If the RNC wants my vote I say
    ’show me the conservative’.

  15. Dave D on November 12th, 2006 at 7:12 pm

#10 Noecon, Remember the “Drive-By Media” loves Mc Cain, Nuff said! I’m so afraid that he is the anointed one,…I hope not, but if the folks in the first primary States don’t get out and vote he’ll be the one! Remember also, the RNC only wants to win, they could care less if the candidate is a conservative or not!

  16. NAT PIERCE on November 12th, 2006 at 7:13 pm

    Haley Barbour

  17. Dave D on November 12th, 2006 at 7:16 pm

You’d have thought that the elections would have sent a strong signal, but some of the Rhino’s are thinking that they need to move more to the center!! What planet are they from?!?!

  18. NAT PIERCE on November 12th, 2006 at 7:17 pm

…the RNC only wants to win, they could care less if the candidate is a conservative or not!

If the RNC is made to understand
NO VOTES FOR MIDDLE-OF-THE-ROAD, the will run a
    conservative.

    Campaign Finance Reform

    Senate Pubbies losing the majority.

I think they’re gonna try it

Barbour, who has spent decades as a Washington lobbyist and power broker, said he wanted to put his powerful Rolodex to work for the state.

The media continues search for ways to pin the blame for Hurricane Katrina’s devastation on President Bush, with television anchors now getting into the act.

Read his whole story….interesting~ Never really paid attention until Nat Pierce brought it up…

    southerntragedy,

    Thanks for the good links.

In the past I thought of Haley as a mover and shaker not a politician.
After watching him handle Mississippi and Katrina I think he is a bright light at the end of a dark Dhimocrat reign.

  23. ThunderHawkk on November 12th, 2006 at 7:46 pm

Socialists take over education. Socialists team with Couric and Jennings and Rather to broadcast propoganda to the masses that Katrina is Bush’s fault, the war is lost, global warming!! etc.

End of story. The masses are ignorant. The Socialists win. We die. That’s all.

You’re going to try to fight televised propoganda? Letterman, Leno, Couric, Oprah? We have NO CHANCE!

Haley Barbour? Are you kidding?? The media will make him out to be a demon and that’s that. We’re dead. It’s all over.

  24. Dave D on November 12th, 2006 at 7:53 pm

Haley Barbour has been on the news a few times, nad every time he said that the people of Mississippi Would appreciate any help hat they could get but they didn’t sit around and wait for some Gub’ment group to come do it for them. The sad thing about it was that it was 6 months after the storm that the Drive by media even knew that there was a problem there! The dirty side of the storm hit Mississippi, NOT Naw’Lines.

  25. southerntragedy on November 12th, 2006 at 7:56 pm

Uhh, Thunderhawk….COuntry folk will survive…I am concerned and worried, but at the end of the day…I’m moving to Alabama with Dave and his kinfolk! Not invited, but will show up. What’s he gonna do? Turn me away? giggle giggle! I’ve got ammo and guns….and know how to grow things and cook!

  26. NAT PIERCE on November 12th, 2006 at 7:57 pm

    ThunderHawkk,

If you are going to die would you not rather
die stuffing their turkey? You know, die up to your namesake.

  27. Squawkbox Noise on November 12th, 2006 at 8:07 pm

Well I can see that we can count on TH for offering positive actions to get conservatives back into power.

Actually all is not lost. Instead of sitting back biotching and worrying now is the time to start writing, calling and generally being a pest with “all” of your representatives. Even if you did not elect them they are your representative, give em hell. I do.

Silence is the worst weapon we can wield.

  28. Dave D on November 12th, 2006 at 8:31 pm

O.K. Boys and Girls, Squawkbox is right. The founding fathers were geniuses; they created a government that was represented by the people but not a democracy. Everything happens real slow, and as soon as the masses gets pi$$ed off enough, something will happen. I’ve always been impatient but have learned that things take time. Remember Reagan had a to deal with the Democraps but he still destroyed the Soviet Union. Also when the revolution started 1/3 of the people were loyal to the King, 1/3 wanted to be free, and 1/3 didn’t give a damn.

  29. NAT PIERCE on November 12th, 2006 at 8:38 pm

    Idiot Moderates:

While a bare majority of 51 percent called the Democrats’ victory “a good thing,” even more said they were concerned about some of the actions a Democratic Congress might take, including 78 percent who were somewhat or very concerned that it would seek too hasty a withdrawal of troops from Iraq.
Another 69 percent said they were concerned that the new Congress would keep the administration “from doing what is necessary to combat terrorism,” and two-thirds said they were concerned it would spend too much time investigating the administration and Republican scandals.” http://michellemalkin.com/archives/006349.htm

They are concerned the Dims are going to scr@w up
butt they vote for them anyway.

paraphrasing:To think like a Dhimocrat you start with a Republican then eliminate logic and
    reason.

  30. Dave D on November 12th, 2006 at 8:48 pm

#25 southerntragedy, BAWHAHAHA, How could I turn you down? You have to get past the 5′6″, 98 Lb, little lady of the house though, but, I think that you’ll pass muster, especially after you meet my Lil’Sister, who is just like you. My sister and my wife are the best of friends. That’s how I got together with my wife.
In all seriousness, I’ve not met any of you folks, but most of the people on this blog are just like me, they are so unlike most of people that I work with or know.

  31. Robert on November 13th, 2006 at 8:31 am

Obama, is like Jesse and Al, being kept around for the black voters. With the Democrats taking power, the field of nominations will grow. I’ll bet John Kerry now thinks his chances have renewed themselves. Since most of the new Democrats are moderates, look for all the candidates to go that way, at least on the outside (I’m referring to Mrs. Clinton). Whoever wondered if there was a possiblity of Hillary and Bill ticket—-No way, they don’t trust each other!!!!!!

  32. Rorschach on November 13th, 2006 at 11:42 am

#4, No I do not think ThunderHawk was being facetious, and yes I DO know what the word means, AND I take umbrage at your insinuation that Rebpublicans are uneducated or backward (See! I can use big words too!). I might well be the product of the Dim’s public education system, but I like to think I have managed to overcome and trancend such paltry educational standards. I certainly am able to think for myself instead of voting in lock-step blocks like the Dims do.

McCain is king of the RINO’s. There was a concern amongst the conservative grass roots that if the Republicans lost, the party would try to move leftward to garner more support. It would appear that this is happening before our very eyes. This cannot be allowed to continue.
