Yeah.. we need this guy in a position of leadership.

And Dingy Harry and his land laundering sale would be great !

Oh! and Hitlary Clinton at the top in 2008 with her Tyson foods scandal, whitewater, and cattle futures.. she knows how to make some quick cash!

Maybe these guys should put together a video on some get rich quick schemes. I’d like to know how they do it AND get away with it! All for the amazing low price of $9.99 plus tax of course.

    Pathetic scumbags.

Let’s not forget Pelosi and her illegal alien workforce working at her Winery.

  3. fasternu426 on November 14th, 2006 at 3:06 pm

How many grand juries to go after Delay? But this really didn’t see the light of day in the MSM??

  4. 2N2it on November 14th, 2006 at 3:12 pm

I forgot about this stuff….guess all the MSM did too.
There’s problems on BOTH sides of the isle, but it seems the Conservative side gets beat down for it, and the Liberal side gets commended for it.
I’ll still vote, but I basically give up. Any day now Jesus!

The grab for power is, hopefully, going to make the Dimwits implode before they are officially in the majority. Lucky for the general public there are tapes for everyone thinking about running for office, so beware, what you say or do might come back to haunt you in 2008. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do if the general gullible public accepts these standards from their elected official. I’ll say one thing for the Republicans, they do kick theirs out (after they have been caught) while the Dimwits get theirs re-elected. I guess that goes to show you their is a “double standard” and maybe that is a good thing!!!!

Even if he totally refused the bribe - which obviously he did not - why did he not go to the FBI or let someone know about the “attempted corruption”? —–

    enquiring minds NEED to know

Murtha was not indicted because good ole boy’s good ole boy Tip O’Neil ran everything in the house back then.

  8. Rorschach on November 14th, 2006 at 4:28 pm

and he wasn’t cleared of wrongdoing, he plea-bargained testimony against others for not being indited himself, that is not quite the same thing.

  9. trl3 on November 14th, 2006 at 4:45 pm

Senate Majority leader, Frist who not was involved in shady land deals that he failed to report correctly to congress and took some of that evil Abronoff money.

Murtha for House majority leader, caught on tape in abscam, making backroom deals, voting on legislation his family lobbies for.

So much for the return of ethics.

    Thats nice.

What’s that old saying? “crooked as a Politician” ?

These guys kill me. Don’t swift boat me… what a load of crap. I’m so disgusted.

  11. Neocon on November 14th, 2006 at 5:25 pm

We need to repeal the 17th Amendment. We also need term limits. Our founding fathers did not envision life-long politicians.

    What goes around, comes around…

  13. dem4life on November 14th, 2006 at 5:46 pm

Here is the bottom line - “Murtha was not indicted in the bribes-for-political-favors probe and ultimately cleared of wrongdoing by the House ethics committee.” Oh and it was 26 years ago.

  14. Squawkbox Noise on November 14th, 2006 at 5:57 pm

    dem4life

cleared of wrongdoing by the House ethics committee

I suppose the fact that the House was controlled by the Dems in dem days had no effect on that decision either.

Oh and as your party has proven time and again 1 day or 26 years wrong is wrong and time does not matter.

  15. Squawkbox Noise on November 14th, 2006 at 6:02 pm

    dem4life

Oh yeah the demoratic “culture of coruption” has been around for more than 26 years.

You can sift through these yourself and count the scandals the demorats have been involved in and the way those involved have been excused.

Does anyone know of a link where I can read the script instead of trying to listen to it on a dial-up connection?

  17. EricPJohnson on November 14th, 2006 at 6:14 pm

Murtha was cleared on a 6-5 party line vote

Pelosi pled guilty to money laundering over 20 million dollars by the FEC in her bid 3 years ago to be minority leader. She paid one of the largest fines in History

Allan Mohollan and Robert Byrd are both under criminal investigation for sending money to dubious charities for property and other assets that miraculously have found their way into their poesession. Mollohans net worth has gone up 50 million dollars in 5 years with no reportable business activity.

Janet Schakowsky’s (Il-06), Nancy Pelosi’s best friend in congress, had two pacts she founded years ago - one to get the elderly to the voting booths - the other to hand out literature

Her husband pled guilty to kiting checks from 4 Chicago banks to operate these pacts stole 2.1 million - reimbursed by Nancy, he went to jail the same day Delay resigned from office

Not a peep in the MSM.

Janet was never charged - her husband is doing her time for her (only in Cook County)

Makes that 3,000 Ney took for cash travel expenses look kinda small?

You can visit my site and read the American Spectator report. Pretty concise yet lengthy.

  19. TEX06 on November 14th, 2006 at 7:57 pm

This is why true Republicans for the next two years should spend a significant effort filbustering, filing ethics charges and talking to whomever will listen.

The new House leadership are CRIMINALS. They deserve our continuous contempt!

NO more PC. Shout down liars at every opprotunity.

  20. trl3 on November 14th, 2006 at 9:22 pm

By all means, put Murtha in this position.

Let all Americans see just how the Democrats fulfill their promises.

  21. Elizabeth on November 14th, 2006 at 9:48 pm

    Ha!

  22. Argus on November 16th, 2006 at 11:45 am

To those who came in late, Hoyer beat Murtha for Majority Leader in a landslide, 149 to 86.
