    Sounds like fun to me!

  3. Chris Stevens on December 8th, 2006 at 6:37 am

…shouldn’t he have to recuse himself for discussing the case before hand?…

  4. Chris Stevens on December 8th, 2006 at 6:38 am

    Or head himself or something?

  5. Chris Stevens on December 8th, 2006 at 6:38 am

    dohhh!

    I meant “behead himself”.

  6. fasternu426 on December 8th, 2006 at 7:26 am

Yes they are a tolerant lot aren’t they? Such a peaceful religion. Bring on the pig races….

  7. trl3 on December 8th, 2006 at 7:30 am

And some people in the United States believe that if we give what they want and leave them alone the Muslims will not bother us.

Hint: this is what they want, your conversion to Islam and to be subject to Islamic law. If not by choice then by force as in Somalia.

  8. tedtam on December 8th, 2006 at 7:43 am

A religion is weak when it cannot draw followers, but must drag them kicking and screaming into prayer. Faith is not faith when it is not practiced willingly.

But then, Islam is not really about faith, it is about power and subjugation.

“Islam is not really about faith, it is about power and subjugation.”

DEAD ON RIGHT!! The shortest, most concise description of Islam I have ever heard.

  10. Robert on December 8th, 2006 at 8:23 am

Pretty soon they are going to judge your intensity of prayer. I wonder what the penalty is for “just going thru the motions”. And what is our government going to do if the muslims here, impose an edit like that in the US?? Boy, talk about a religion run amuck!!!!!!

  11. tedtam on December 8th, 2006 at 8:26 am

Of course, if the Muslims took over America (shudder), how long would they stay if they had to deal with the welfare society that we have? How long before their patience would run out and they would leave? If we can’t get some of these lazy —– off their butts to take care of themselves when their survival depends on it, how are the Muslims going to make them go to prayer five times a day!?

  12. trl3 on December 8th, 2006 at 8:40 am

    #11

I believe they said they would deal with it by cutting off their heads.

  13. Quicksilver on December 8th, 2006 at 8:49 am

Has anyone here read a book called, Prayers for the Assassin, by Robert Ferrigno? If so, what did you think of it?

At least the entitlement payments would go down. But I don’t think I’d trade lower taxes for loss of freedom.

  15. tedtam on December 8th, 2006 at 9:11 am

    Inhabitants that we call Somali
And those from the island of Bali
Must pray five times a day
    And face the right way
Or find themselves subject to a really oppressive and cruel form of punishment frowned upon by most civilized countries of the world.

    #11 tedtam - Good question.
Curious to know how they plan to measure/insure compliance with the edict?
    Do they:
    1. Ask each person how many times they prayed today? (How many officials and how much time would that take?) Would someone lie not to have their head cut off?
    2. Do the officials go door to door to check on who’s praying and who’s not? What about the people who are checking to see who’s praying at the specified times - They are not praying so they would have to be beheaded. But by whom? Do they have some one checking on the checkers? etcetera, etcetera….

    Religion of peace….right!

I doubt I will live to see them take over because I will not conform to what these “peaceful religous” people require to live.

I’d hate to see the Muslim Equivalent of Santa Claus:

What saw we get a group trip together to go visit this paradise in the sun? It sounds like the ultimate vacation destination.

  20. fontaine on December 8th, 2006 at 2:40 pm

Yeah, like Christians have always been very pure and noble in the practice of our religion. Anyone heard of the Crusades? The Spanish Inquisition? 100 Years War? Hitler preached a screwed up perversion of Christianity, should his crimes be a reflection of everyone of the Christian faith?

This whole “Islam is evil, they all want to kill us” line of thought is wearing very thin with me, because we all know some kind, hard-working, American muslims who are paragons of their faith. What about Hakeem Olajuwon one of Houston’s greatest sports heroes who built a mosque in dowtown?

Honestly, if we continue to feel this general hate towards Muslims that the worst of them feel towards us, then the war will never end. Because the hate and the idea that they are all inherently our enemies will become engrained in our colective consciouness. And that would mean that the war could never end

Awww…terrific…what happens if you can’t count?

#20…this is the year 2006..almost to be 2007…remember?

  22. tedtam on December 8th, 2006 at 3:07 pm

No one says that Christians have been perfect. However, we’ve moved beyond that period. I am sure that Muslims during the Crusades had their reasons to *itch, too. As a matter of fact, they have turned it into an everlasting art form and continue to use the Crusades as a platform for hatred even today. What must also be remembered is that the Crusades were, in part, an attempt to regain the Christian lands that had been taken by the sword of Islam to begin with. Also, in Christianity, our last message was one of love and peace. In Islam, their last message was one of subjugation and mayhem. The earlier, peaceful messages of Mohammed were early on, before he gained the momentum he needed to reveal the later messages from God which the more brutal of them all. In their faith, the later messages abrogate the earlier ones and make them void. This is the easy way of not having to deal with the contradictions in the Koran, such as “there is no compulsion in religion” with “cut off the kafir’s heads”.

I don’t think that anyone (and I’m making assumptions, I don’t have the right to speak for anyone else) actually have problems with peaceful Muslims who want to assimilate and be good neighbors. The Muslims we fear are the ones who give us reason to fear.

  23. tedtam on December 8th, 2006 at 3:08 pm

    btw, “zilla”

I just noticed the pun in the title: “face” “beheading” Were you trying to make a funny or did it just happen?

    fontaine -

You are very correct as I personally am looking forward to watching all those liberals get their heads wacked off. Those non-working katrinas, queers, lesbians women living with men they aren’t married to, women wearing clothes revealing to much skin, women not giving into their man’s desires, drunks, dope addicts, intellectuals who think freedom of thought is being oppressed, liars - politicians get in line, men touching women in a non- appropriate manner, women being out with a man un-shaparoned (sp?), thieves - politicians again, women buried in the ground and then stoned. Boy I had better bring a sleeping bag as I think when they first take over the show will be non-stop. Video cams are they allowed - will want to show my kids what happens when you do wrong and do they put signs to notify the crowd of the crime.

Any chance they would make this a series or nightly show - wonder what the ratings would be? Wonder how the liberal media would like all this - should love it as they could direct it but editing maybe difficult.

Year is 1412 I think in Islamic math.

“if we continue to feel this general hate towards Muslims”

Yeah, that’s why I see all those Christians holding up severed heads saying “Jesus Akbar!” All them bombs set by Pentecostals going off in Mecca, yeah!

They DO want to kill us all. From 11-26 to 12-02 of this year (that would be last week) there have been 438 people killed and 425 critically injured and guess by whom?? It weren’t Presbetarians!

You really need to learn about Islam, and not from Saturday morning cartoons and pamphlets.

And, if you have to resort to going back almost a thousand years to point out Christian tyranny and drag out the Nazi thing, you are a boob….

And, BTW, the Hundred Years’ War was Between France and England. This is where Joan of Arc made her appearance on the scene she was granted command of an army and lifted the siege of OrlĂ©ans. She was a mental case that heard voices. You really should have paid attention in world history class.
