    Am I first???

    This is too funny!

Yesterday, in the initial Kerry thread, Argus came in and called the veractiy of the photo into question. He used the word “liar”

Michelle Malkin has the low down on the photo.

    It’s legit:

    http://michellemalkin.com/archives/006613.htm

I wonder if Argus is going to apologize to the people whom he called a liar—especially the soldier that posted the photo.

I doubt it. It’s a Liberal’s style to label one day, then ignore the correction.

Kerry is a loser, I hoped everyone would avoid him and it looks like most did. :))) I know those guys have more class in thier little finger than Kerry has in his whole body, so I knew they would be polite.
I find the pic abit offensive to equate with a slime like kerry.

  5. TEX06 on December 28th, 2006 at 7:08 pm

Obviously the picture is 35 years ago [1971] when I listened to the fool call me and everyone else in the Uniformed Services names before a Congressional Hearing.

I have faith that Jon Carre’ which have a solitary cell in Hell!

Sarge there is an expression I hate to use “Wish in one hand and “deficate” in the other”

Argus will not apologize. Argus has no ladder to climb that high.

You know, I can unnerstan’ why he ate alone. I don’t think I coul keep my food down either, under those circumstances.

  9. Neocon on December 29th, 2006 at 12:22 am

Jon f’n Carry is a complete moron. He doesn’t even understand that he is irrelevant. The people of Massachusettes must be complete a$$holes to reelect this guy! Same with Kennedy. What are these people thinking? Or is it because no one will run against these idiots? Pretty sad commentary.

  10. SimpleSimon on December 29th, 2006 at 6:23 am

    Neo et al,

I would point out that we wise voters in Texas has elected some real stinkers from time to time.
It is a practice which I believe will continue long after my bones are long underground.

Why worry about Kerry? Don’t you guys have anything better to do? His poll numbers with registered Democratic voters is in single digits.

I don’t like him or the other senator from Massachusettes, but then again I don’t live there.

Democracy is like the process of making sausage. It is disgusting to watch, but the end product ends up being pretty tasty.

Argus has once again proven just what kind of person he is. He will never admit it, and we will probably not hear from him anytime soon.

  12. trl3 on December 29th, 2006 at 7:00 am

I think the picture for Kerry’s last supper is very appropriate.

It not only depicts the image of what he believes himself to be, but the attitude every thinking person has about him. He is to be avoided.

  13. Adee on December 29th, 2006 at 7:45 am

The old saying about when you find yourself in a hole, stop digging seems to be lost on the Senator. What hole? Who’s digging? How did this happen? The mind reels.

    #10) Simple:
As usual, you make an excellent point.
Mr. DeLay is one of “ours” that immediately comes to mind.

Why John Kerry’s absence of dining companions is “news” is beyond me. Who cares?
The same goes for the doctored Thanksgiving photos that the Bush administration hoisted out a few years back.
These are both examples of how easily uninformed and blindly partisan citizens can be fed such innane items (swallowing them with partisan gusto) all the while ignoring those things that are truly important to our fair Republic.

  15. fasternu426 on December 29th, 2006 at 8:26 am

    simple-willy

    “doctored Thanksgiving photos ”
The what? Put the crackpipe down….

“Why John Kerry’s absence of dining companions is “news” is beyond me. Who cares?”

It’s just hilarious when some elitist liberal backstabbing moron like JF’N-K gets snubbed like that. He deserved what he got for saying what he did. He’s a treasonous ba$tard. It was obviously important enough for you guys to comment on what we were commenting about. So why are you commenting on a comment that someone else commented about? Any comments?

What Kerry does will affect what happens in Texas and the nation. His trip to the region was to go to Syria and other countries so as to backstab this admistration and its war efforts….. He wasn’t there to check up on the Massachussets National Guard. The war has been going on for how long and how many trips has he made over there?
    http://www.johnkerry.com/news/articles/newsarticle.html?id=105

“The diplomatic push from Congress comes on the heels of a recommendation by a bipartisan panel that the U.S. engage Iran and Syria on the war in Iraq. Bush has expressed reluctance to seek help from Damascus on Iraq until the Syrians curb their support to radical Palestinian groups and to the Lebanese Hezbollah and reduce their influence in Lebanon.”

Kerry and his ilk are more likely to work with terrorists than the president.

You guys would lose a war to win political points.

  16. trl3 on December 29th, 2006 at 8:42 am

    Willie

What doctored photos are you referring to?

  17. navymom on December 29th, 2006 at 8:50 am

That is just so wrong on SO many levels.

I know JK THINKS he is God, but you don’t have to help him out in his way of thinking!

  18. Robert on December 29th, 2006 at 9:03 am

Willie, why do you reference Tom Delay as if he were ever convicted of something. If the case against him were so good how come it hasn’t come to trial. But you are right about John Kerry, who cares except for the fact that he wants to be commander-in-chief. The liberal media hypes up things that are bad about conservatives and Republicans while the internet and blogs hype up bad things about liberals and Dimwits. It’s up to the people to want to find out the truth or be lead by things they want to believe are true. When we read the comments of others we can see where they are coming from.

  19. Maltboy! on December 29th, 2006 at 10:04 am

‘08 is gonna be a doozy for the Democrats. Kerry, Hillary, and Obama are gonna eat each other alive. It’s going to be interesting to watch these three try to destroy each other. I hope Obama wins. He seems like a good man, regardless of his political leanings.

Don’t leave out Gore, Dean, and Edwards. Maybe they should run Murtha and Nagin too.

If it is truely no big deal, why does it bother you liberals so much when it pointed out. You should be happy that conservatives are wasting time of such unimportant matters.

  22. Argus on December 29th, 2006 at 11:46 am

The implication of the original LST posting of the “lonely Kerry” picture was supposed to be evidence of U.S. troops shunning the senator. He’d been ostracized in retaliation for his “botched joke.” The story still is untrue. To Knowingly post an untrue story is lying. Ms. Malkin herself posted the picture of Kerry sitting at a mess-hall table, talking with troops who were sitting with him. Kerry wasn’t being intentionally isolated as some kind of symbolic slight; he appears to be engaged in conversation. The apology that is required is from the original poster

  23. Argus on December 29th, 2006 at 11:52 am

By the way, ever since “Chronically Biased” became LST and lost the good natured give and take, I rarely have time to visit the site.(you can’t imagine how long it takes to stand in line to get my welfare check, and then there is the wait to get the Lone Star Card refilled.) But since some progressive sites link to LST, occasionally I feel obligated when I do visit to comment on the more egregious posts for the benefit of the lost souls that may wonder over here from the world of reality.

  24. Robert on December 29th, 2006 at 1:07 pm

Argus you are right. Kerry does seem to be carrying on a conversation but its probably with his staffers trying to figure out how he can gain politically from this visit. Is there a medal in it for him?? Can he do something heroic without actually getting involved or hurt?? Where are the cameras and what is his best side (if he ever had one). The man is a glory seeker who is lost in his “illusions of grandeur”. Fortunatley for the American public he is the only one believing it except for maybe Teressa and the kids.

  25. SimpleSimon on December 29th, 2006 at 2:01 pm

    Fastie and Robert,

So what if Kerry goes to Syria? Do you think the Hashimite rulers of Syria have stayed in power by being fools?

They too know what an idiot Kerry is and are probably a lot better versed on our political system that most of the folks in the USA are of theirs.

Kerry can make a lot of noise and wind, but last time I looked…only the President can enter into treaties with foreign powers (with the advise and consent of the Senate…whatever that is today).

I do agree that the flood of politicians flocking to the Middle-East as self-appointed ambassodors was foolish and disloyal, but we do live in a democracy and being able to act stupid is protected in the Bill of Rights. Besides, I suspect the RNC has video taped splices of these loons’ visits to play in 2008. I would!!

Robert, I think you are close to the mark in your last comment. Kerry has probably lost touch with reality, but then again I suspect GWB has a “touch” of that himself lately. I could be wrong and it could just be an acute case of stupid.

    Simple

  26. Ree-C Murphey on December 29th, 2006 at 2:13 pm

    Argus:

I am the original poster of the “Lonely Kerry” story @ LST. You will not be getting an apology from me.

I posted it based on the blogs from the guy that claimed he was sent the photograph from the service person who took it (as well as their “testimony”) as well as others that had some ancillary information. I linked to all “authorities” that I was able to find at the time of posting (as well as shortly thereafter, hence the “UPDATE” items).

I suggest you go read Michelle Malkin once again. She has pretty definitive information the photo and the circumstances of the photo are real (including additional photos from the same mess hall from the same camera). See: http://michellemalkin.com/archives/006613.htm

Frankly, I think the whole situation is pretty hilarious. You reap what you sow. I think all ends of the political spectrum can agree on that.

You insult the troops, they are not going to be your “best friend”… How hard is that to anticipate?

  27. Robert on December 29th, 2006 at 2:38 pm

Only time will tell where these men stand in history. For President Bush, time will definitely tell. His story is not over. As for Kerry, he’s on the downside of his political career and the bad thing about it is, he doesn’t know it. And because he doesn’t know it, look for him in 2008. I really look forward to 2008. The Dimwits will probably have to choose between Hillary, Barack, John E., John K., Dennis, Joe, Algore, Al and maybe Howard. What a lineup and oh those “Top Ten” lists!!!!!
