Dont worry. American citizens will take action.

    Those darn vigilantes.

I have written letters to the President, My Senators, my Congressman, the Governor, etc.

Up to now I have been mostly ignored. I am opposed to amnesty. I want the border secured and I want ILLEGALS, no mater where they come from, Kicked the hell out.

The fact is until a lot more United States Citizens get involved I do not think anyone is going to pay attention.

If you want to get the attention of our government, the only way is to kick their collective butts, meaning let them know how you feel and if they do not respond appropriately, THROW THE BUMs OUT.

Did you have any recitivity rates among african americans and white males below 30 with out HS diploma who have been arrested

I think you will find similar strats if not more arrests, in new orleans we had Juvies with rap sheets of over 50 arrests - those were sadly not uncommon

Those guys should be locked up also, but it really has nothing to do with the debate on ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.

Secure the border now, kick the ILLEGALs out, and we will have gone a long way to solving a lot of our problems.

  5. vlou on January 8th, 2007 at 11:55 am

#4 - you are correct. The crime perpetrated by American citizens has nothing to do with the problem at hand…ILLEGAL ALIENS…it does not matter which country they represent (however, most are from Mexico and Central America). Over and over again, we need to have the borders secured NOW! Our government leaders are not listening to us - we need to have a march and protest on Washington, D.C. or some other vigilante protest of our government’s handling of this situation and demand a resolution of it will never get done - talk is cheap just like ILLEGAL immigration labor.

I think you have hit it about having a march. It would be hard to get many to march on DC, but it we could get many to march on the Federal Building in Houston. How do we get this started??

  7. Robert on January 8th, 2007 at 12:15 pm

It is going to take an election year for anything to be done and then all we get is campaign rhetoric like we voted for a fence. Oh, but we didn’t appropriate any money for one. Despite the Crummyicle’s complaints about Dan Patrick, I think Dan will be the rebel rouser government needs. They will ignore us until Dan unleashes the silent majority who will kick their butts out of office. It has been building and they have experienced its power when Dan told Gov. “Pretty Hair” that he needs Harris County if he wants to be reelected. The Gov. fooled us once, he won’t fool us again!!!

Ah, the cost of illegal immigration can now be counted in lives. Schools and prisons are the breeding ground for the new drug resistent TB bug. 66% fatality rate with this new strain of TB….too bad it is slow.

Nobody seems to care about illegal immigration until it hits home.

#5 Have you tried lately to hire the guys standing around looking for work? They ain’t cheap anymore.

Governor Goodhair did not fool all of us in the last election. I do not think he will fool very many in the next. If Perry want to remain a political force he has 2 options:

    1. He can start acting like a conservative.
    2. He can move to another State where they tolerate Liars.

I guess my point is that crime is crime

    Lets lock up everyone…..

But to think or imply that it his more Latino, illegal orientated is somewhat misleading given the rhetoric in the post

Part of the problem is people that knowingly hire ILLEGALs. I have never tried to hire one and I do not intend to start. If a U.S. Citizen or Legal immigrant won’t do the job, I will do it myself or it will not get done.

  13. trl3 on January 8th, 2007 at 12:35 pm

    EricPJohnson

I never said or implied that crime commited by other than ILLEGALS is not important. I said that you are trying to change the subject by bringing up something that has nothing to do with the discussion.

The fact remains that if we secured our borders and sent the ILLEGALS home, crime would go down by a significant percentage, and as many 25,000 United States Citizens would not die by thier hand each year.

  14. Big45Iron on January 8th, 2007 at 12:37 pm

Perhaps the Texas Rangers Frontier Battalion should be reactivated with their old methods of operation!!

I think it’s time for an open hunting season like we have for feral hogs.

  16. dcgirl on January 8th, 2007 at 1:17 pm

For those liberals who still think (incorrectly) that illegals do the jobs that Americans won’t do, they need to watch the cable show “Dirty Jobs”. I have yet to see one of those stinky jobs being done by any other than a good old American.

Perry didn’t fool me and I didn’t vote for him. Alas, he won anyway. I agree with those that believe we need to export ALL illegals, correctly change the status of the anchor babies to non-citizens (after all their parents were not under US jurisdiction so they don’t pass the citizenship test) and secure the border to stem the future flow. Also, stop with the bilingual cr&p and all government and businesses do English only. Severely penalize those that hire, rent to, etc. illegals.

  17. Shannon on January 8th, 2007 at 1:43 pm

Eric started plying the race card a number of months ago when he realized he couldn’t win the argument about the inherent security risk in not securing the border.

Like Eric, I think putting twelve million people on the bus is a pipedream.

But unlike Eric, I think the border can and should be sealed now, by any means necessary. A process that should have started on September 12, 2001.

    #6 et all,

We had a protest rally on Saturday against illegal aliens up near Aldine Bender and 45. I put up 23 videos last night if you are inclined to take a look:

I don’t see what everybody is getting worked up about. In a few months approx 20 million people will be getting amnesty and that will be 20 million less illegals you will have to worry about.

  21. normal_fault on January 8th, 2007 at 2:41 pm

    #20 -
Then what do we do with the 40 million more people that will cross the border after this 20 million gets amnesty?

Amnesty didn’t work in 1986, so why will it work now?

Oh, I get i!. We will just change the name from ‘Amnesty’ to ‘Guest worker program’….just like when New Orleans solved their homeless problem by renaming the homeless to… ‘outdoorsmen’. Problem solved, New Orleans style.

  22. trl3 on January 8th, 2007 at 3:00 pm

    Jose

It is those 20 million I am worried about and I do not want them to get amnesty.

I want the border secured and I want those guys to be denied work, medical coverage, welfare, and housing so they will want to go home all by themselves.

If it cost more to get your grass mowed, so be it!

  23. The Deacon on January 8th, 2007 at 5:24 pm

We (the US citizens) have already lost this debate. Amnesty was going to happen no matter who controls congress. Now it will just be hastened along with the Democrats in power. Anyone who thinks that the anchor baby issue and all the other insane federal judicial decisions will be overturned are living in a dream world. All we can do now is try to secure our jobs/careers as best we can and invest our money in ways that make some income off the former illegals. Of course, we also need to make the traitors at all levels of government pay at the ballot box for giving away our country. I’m convinced that nothing short of civil unrest or bloodshed will get the results most people want.

  24. trl3 on January 8th, 2007 at 5:48 pm

I will not give up until it actually happens. I will continue to support anyone Republican, Democrat, or Independant that will commit to securing our borders and throwing out the ILLEGALS.

I will never vote for anyone that helps in securing amnesty and fails to vote to secure our borders.

The only thing that will stop amnesty and convince out elected represenitives to secure the borders is for a massive number of people to flood thier offices with phone calls, letters, and emails stating your opposition to amnesty and your willingness to vote against anyone that supports it.

Now I’m for limited fencing - I just don’t think it will work but we should try

    Also

    Trl

25000 people, you must have confused African Americans Hispanics (including illegals) accounted for less than 10,000 which is too many but if we are addressing crime there are groups that could be better patroled a better use of tax payers funds

Thanks for your patriotism and thanks for the videos. Will take time to go through them. More of this is what this country needs! ;)

  27. southerntragedy on January 8th, 2007 at 10:58 pm

Look on the sunny side. When we get invaded by muslims, at least we’ll have some drunk “illegal aliens” with loaded guns and uninspected POS cars to help us fight them./ducks and quacks sadly…

  28. trl3 on January 9th, 2007 at 8:39 am

    EricPJohnson

It has been report that ILLEGALS are responsible for as many as 12,000 homicides, and as many as 13,000 traffic deaths each year. I confused nothing.

NOTE: Not all ILLEGALS are Hispanic.
