Can you imagine how much sexual abuse would go on at THIS church? And also, when it did occur, I would laugh at how the mainstream media would ignore it, since it was Bill Clinton.

I think Jimmy Carter should be in prison for treason, but that’s just me.

Plus, there are Methodist Ministers lobbying SMU to not accept the George W. Bush Presidential Library.

    Excuse me?!
“poverty, environment, and global conflicts” ??!!

Um, just which chapter in the book of Hezekiah lists those concepts as priorities?

Why don’t they just join the dying Episcopal church?

The TEC needs to replace the thousands that have left. And they certainly match old Jimmah and Bubba’s moral outlook. And they care more about supporting the UN and one world government than massy old Scripture.

    Shoot, it’s a perfect match.

  6. Shannon on January 18th, 2007 at 4:39 pm

    messy* old Scripture.

    heh

  7. Shannon on January 18th, 2007 at 4:41 pm

Jimmah has found a new cause to pursue since most of his help walked-out on him at the Carter Center.

Unbelievable. One of the cornerstones of Christianity is that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God. If you believe otherwise, you’re preaching one of those ‘other gospels’ that Paul warned about…

    Golly;

Bill Clinton really IS the Anti-Christ—–

    “alternative Baptist movement”

With an alternative god and a progressive bible?

    http://www.thepeoplescube.com/red/viewtopic.php?t=992

“The New Modern Library’s Progressive Bible is written within a scope of only 200 words to make it accessible to everyone.”

“Exactly half of the characters are women (50% of the kings are now queens).”

“Every progressive Christian worth his/her/its “pillar of salt” is sure to enjoy the revised story of Moses, whose crusading band of Zionist aggressors ambushed the disenfranchised Egyptian freedom fighters in what became known as the “Red Sea Massacre.”

The Baptist Church has too many codes of conduct for these two. They don’t like having to be restrained by rules of decency. And Jimmy likes too many Marxists.

  12. HomerJ on January 18th, 2007 at 6:25 pm

These guys need to read Galatians 1 over and over until they realize just what a profoundly bad idea it is to alter the presentation of the Gospel.

  13. RickG on January 18th, 2007 at 6:38 pm

    12 Homer

But, Homer, these guys were President. That Paul fellow was just an itinerant preacher bum.

They should open a church of Scientology cause they are “OUT THERE”.

Jimmy’s a little close to meeting the man upstairs, he should really reconsider.

  15. TEX06 on January 18th, 2007 at 7:13 pm

These two clowns would have a book of discipline that would be a real hoot! Some liberating “freedoms” from real Christianity:

    Oral adultry is A OK.

Hating Jews is OK if you believe in Palestinian ethnic cleaning [read killing].

    Global warming really is real.

HIV is caused by mean old fuddy-duddy Christians

    George Bush is the Anti-Christ

  16. Neocon on January 18th, 2007 at 7:38 pm

    Sarge

There is no “one” anti-Christ. Read 1st, 2nd and 3rd John to understand that the anti-Christ is false teachers — not one person/entity. Do’h.

  17. RickG on January 18th, 2007 at 7:41 pm

    15 TEX06

    Add:

-Socialist dictators are fine fellows who champion free and fair elections.

-S. Korea is only a threat because GW Bush is too mean, as Mad Halfbright had it all under control.

  18. RickG on January 18th, 2007 at 7:42 pm

    Sorry - N Korea.

There are a lot of religious democrats out there that need to take a look at this and relly rethink who they have been backing in the political arena if they truly believe in God’s word.It is time for some serious soul searching!
