Only Republicans are required to resign. Dhimmicrats do what ever they want. I for one am not suprised that Hillary placed her hat in the ring. I figure she will kill Obama Osama. She first had to do this before she ran. Look out Obama, Shillery is coming for you just like she did Vince Foster. You’re days are numbered.

Senator Clinton (D-NY) was re-elected November 2006 for the normal six year term.
Current law will not require the junior senator from New York to step down from her Senate seat, to run for the White House, or any other office.

You are so right. I will never happen. The Dhims will freak if a Republican runs for office without resigning, but it doesn’t affect them (and as they see it, it shouldn’t). They are GAWD! by gawd!

Hillary has no chance of winning. This is why. The American people elect GW because of his “alleged” conservative principles, along with congress. Now, GW and congress have shown the people that they aren’t as quite as conservative as they let on. This is why the republicans lost congress. It wasn’t so much a vote for the dems as it was a vote against the republicans. The American people want a “conservative” (not necessarily “republican” candidate. Hillary won’t win because she is way too far to the left of the people. So, I would venture to say that even a “moderate” republican would win over Hillary because they aren’t as far to the left. (I’m not happy about that either). If the dems were smart, they’d elect someone like Lieberman (sic?)
Dumbocrats aren’t smart enough to talk any of their candidates out of running and just get more stability in their party by having a few (2 or 3). They all think they are going to run. What a fantasy show that will be!

He won his second term by pretending to be a conservative, he was impeached and was not thrown out by the Senate. Remember she won New York as a carpet-bagger. The American public is basically stupid,…SAD To Say! I think that she will be the DemocRATic, nominee and if so, she will have a hell of a good chance. She’ll get a lot of votes from women that are ill informed, all the nut-jobs.
BTW; I’ve said all along that Condi Rice was the only one that could beat Hitlery, but she may be damaged goods now, with the Iraq war the way it is.

Americans tend to forget rather quickly. I heard some woman say, (I think it was Cokie Roberts), that many liberal women understand why she stayed with her husband while he was in office. But, they can’t understand why she’s still with him and that may hurt her. I know she was elected in NY. But, it IS NY, right? Either way, we’re up for one hell of a ride after the primaries. Scary thought. Hillary wants to be the first woman president. That is her goal. Not that she can lead this country or really wants to. That isn’t her goal. She will abuse the office of presidency just as Bill Clinton did. I for one do not want to have to go another 4 to 8 years of the Clintons. Bill was way too much then and to think we have another go round of these two is too much to stomach again.
Hillary has vowed to run and run to win. To me that is a clear indication she will use every dirty trick that she and her cohorts can come up with to reach their final goal. She will approve anything if it justifies her means to gain the presidency. There is nothing she won’t do to have that position. Hillary will use any means to get what she wants.
If we continue to go down this slippery road that we have paved out over the past many years, then maybe we do deserve Hillary to win. Hillary is a SOCIALIST. Is that what we want this country to become? If so, WHY? I just don’t get it.

I’m with you Silo! I don’t think Billery will win the democratic primary, unless she “rids” herself of all her opponents, which is the only way she will win. Even my democrap friends see it that way. Once Obama is buried, along with Edwards, will Billary advance.

I used to have a perverse crush on Hillary. I suppose that I was the equivalent to the woman who ‘knows’ she can change her man. Politically, I’ve had no respect for her since she tried to play the 1st Lady, whilst having The Portfolio in the Health Care Take over atttempt. She exposed her ‘off with his head’ temprament, concurrant with her demand for reverence, vis a vis here ‘calling’ as 1st Lady. She could have been forgiven the faux pas, had she risen to the occasion and taken a few arrows; bearing them with stoicity. Alas, she shrank back to the White House and premiered the ‘Pretty in Pink Cookie Dough’ smokescreen. To Me and many other discerning folks, She and Bill are as transparent as an Oscar attendees blouse; with considerably less redeeming value. I think that Bill might be all right to Chill with ; have a few bevies etc. I fear that Hillary may be a much more dangerous creature…… I suppose I should apologise in case I’m mistaken.
