Why doesn’t the liberal media go to Algore for his view. And if it was so important, why doesn’t Algore run his presidential campaign based solely on cleaning up the environment. If it’s important to the voters, then they can put him in to fix it.

  4. sargevining on February 2nd, 2007 at 12:57 pm

    OK—

So now what we need to do is find a way to make money off of it.

And the best way to do that is to find a way to make humans better off while it’s happening.

But spending billyuns and billyuns of doallrs tryring to stop it is money down the drain—meny that could be used to find a way to help humans better off while it’s happening.

Think I’ll build a beach house here in Rosenberg. then, a hundred years from now when the beach is lapping at the breakdown lane on Hwy 36, my great grand kids can sell it as “historic” beach house.

One word. Portable Personal Air Conditioners. PPAC™.

  6. southerntragedy on February 2nd, 2007 at 1:11 pm

Gee, hope I’m still alive to be able to witness those fruits and nuts in California drop off into the sea! Bring on Global Warming!

    Sarge, I think you’re onto something. Interesting~

  7. Shannon on February 2nd, 2007 at 1:14 pm

    Can’t wait, Sarge.
I’ll only be 42 miles from the beach, instead of 100.

POP Science no more no less.

I stand in the middle of the Global Warming Freeway, basking in the warmth, waiting to be turned into roadkill.

  10. No Higher Tax on February 2nd, 2007 at 1:20 pm

they are already floating a $1.00/gallon increase in the govenment tax on fuel this just makes the idiots say it is the correct thing to do while they give the “poor” gasoline for free - has chavez moved to the US of Amexico?

I have been hearing the supposed experts telling us we were doomed for decades. Were going to freeze, we are going burn up, we are going to drown, we are all going to get cancer and die.

The date of our supposed doom has come and gone several times. It makes it hard to take these guys seriously.

    Wolf, Wolf, Wolf…

Please send some of that warming my way. I’m tired of being cold!

  14. strongbow on February 2nd, 2007 at 2:11 pm

After the weather here in Houston over the last few weeks, all I can say is: Global Warming, my butt.

Whatever is happening to the climate is part of a natural cycle that man has/had very little influence over.

  15. tedtam on February 2nd, 2007 at 2:35 pm

Mankind: measures in seconds, hours, days, months, years

    Earth/Nature: measures in eons, epochs

Think there could be a problem here? Defining a an epochal cycle by measuring years? Ever hear the story about the the blind men and the elephant? The one near the tail says an elephant is like a rope. The one near the leg says it is built like a tree. You get the idea.

    Global blathering.

I’m surprised Gregg hasn’t reacted to my “shopping for a Hummer” line.

I’m surprised DJ hasn’t blamed it on Jorge Boosh and his One World Order cabal.

And why does my presence stop you?

  21. twocute64001 on February 2nd, 2007 at 3:50 pm

I am cold! So I know this global warming BS is just that BS

  22. tedtam on February 2nd, 2007 at 3:53 pm

    A theory of global warming
    Kept all the eco-buzzards swarming.
    “The sky will fall!”
    Was the constant call
    For all-over liberal conforming.

ROFL you took my line. Since you covered the bases for me on the sky is falling. Answer one question for me. Does the “BS” stand for Bull Sh!#$t or does it stand for Barbara Streisand. :)))))

  24. hamous on February 2nd, 2007 at 3:57 pm

I’m still trying to figure out how these brilliant scientists worrying about the polar ice sheets melting and raising sea levels don’t remember the earliest physics demonstration we were all shown - when the ice in a glass of ice water melts it doesn’t increase the water level.

I’m with Matt. If there’s nothing we can do, lets make like the dance band on the titanic. Go buy a gas guzzler.

    The temperature is a risin’
They say it’s because we are the causin’

    Gore is all on alert
    The self proclaimed expert
We always wondered what he did
    Productive work he doth forbid
To play with small minds is his bid
As he aggressively strokes his id

  27. tedtam on February 2nd, 2007 at 5:55 pm

    #26

    He’s stroking WHAT!?
    Oh, his “id”. Gotcha. ;)

  28. sargevining on February 2nd, 2007 at 5:58 pm

    Hey;

I’m willing to say that Algore is right:

    “Humans are causing global warming”

If he’ll agree with the UN Report:

“Ain’t a damting we can do bout it now”

  29. BoxieAgain on February 4th, 2007 at 1:49 am

Only the young are falling for this……..those of us who went thru the “ice age is coming” when WE we’re young understand. Give them a break..we fell for the ice age thing…………they will mature and find out they were duped too…..

  30. Meglet on February 4th, 2007 at 6:41 pm

Can someone tell me how we can be so sure the temperature is that much warmer? What about the whole cycle thing just like we get more hurricanes some years than others because it’s warmer SOME years than others….?? We didn’t have hardly any last year, doesn’t that sound any alarms??
