I’m unimpressed - I never got the point that he was trying to get across, and particularly unimpressed with the continuing references to the pile of cash stashed along side him. What’s he trying to say?
Sorry, I try to avoid being forced to watch any politician for more than a few minutes at a time, let alone a half hour. It’s easier to read the transcript or press release, and don’t have to suffer through all the dramatics.
Besides, what is he saying that he hasn’t said on the radio ad nauseum?
I would like to hear Dan’s press conference. Why don’t you use a format that I don’t have to purchase in order to view it. Like Macromedia or some other freeware……
Try real player.
It played on REALPLAYER for me, which I did not need to purchase.
But I warn you the sound quality is not great
He is grandstanding even worse than I thought he would.
I thought that Senator Patrick’s press conference was very effective in illustrating our spending problem. I feel that grandstanding is a part of politics and it cannot be avoided if someone wants to have a chance of being an effective legislator.
We cannot continue to grow government at the same rate that we have for the last 7 years or so if we want to be able to afford to live in Texas. We all have to make tough choices about what we are willing to give up. Does anyone see this differently?
The hard part is deciding what to cut. The real hard part is getting the legislature to cut spending.
This could be the start of something worthwhile. We shall see. Keep up the good work Senator Patrick.
Gaddy, he persued the office to go rattle the cage, he ran on rattling the cage, he was elected to go rattle the cage. He is now rattling the cage.
