Into the very strange world of illegal immigration steps the AWOL immigrant wives club. Seeing in the tea leaves that the U.S. gov’t is a willing accomplice to the migration of their husbands, these gals are demanding that we close the borders:
“To the United States government — close the border, send our men home to us, even if you must deport them (only treat them in a humane manner — please do not hurt them),”
Hurt them, hell, we give them rides in air-conditioned buses, ladies. Could it be that you’ve not been taking care of your man properly?
“Oh how I worry that you have another woman! Don’t you love me? You told me you love me.”
That’s okay, it’s a win-win according to both governments officials:
businesses and government officials on both sides of the border also acknowledge a sort of grand bargain — the U.S. gets cheap labor, while Mexico has an outlet for its unemployed, who in turn send cash back home
Notice that they left out the part about the U.S. taxpayer footing huge bills for the infrastructure required to have this cheap labor. This guy gets it:

Now we know the truth. Pedro just doesn’t want go home to a nag.

The illegals coming here are escaping one of two things: 1) poverty brought on by a corrupt government and/or 2) their legal responsibilities back home (aka their wives and kids). And once they get a taste of the good life here, why would they want to go back.
Not only are they not going back, many are not sending the dinero home. The are establishing new families here instead. If we comply with the demands of the women in Mexico, we will then be saddled with taking care of the women these men leave in the U.S. It doesn’t matter what we do, if we don’t close the border, we are doomed to becoming a third world nation.

I mean would pedro really be here if his wife looks like this instead she probably looks like this
what is not said is that Pedro (who is paid Davis Bacon Wages of 15.00 an hour as a helper) has a wife and kids in mexico as well as a live in here who is pregnant with kid # 2 who collect WIC and foodstamps and hud and anything else available.
