Up early bigJolly suing for life its hard to imagine the opening arguments

  2. HomerJ on March 7th, 2007 at 7:35 am

Maybe the National Organization of (unaborted) Women can help her. Oh, wait, they are pro-abortion also.

Hopefully she’ll give her child up for adoption. Can you imagine growing up with a mom like that? “Honey, I really, really wanted to have you murdered. But that lawsuit paid off nicely so I guess it worked out OK.”

Well ain’t that special, (insert Church Lady here), let’s see, the b*tch spends too much time on her back with her legs up in the air and gets Pregnant, decides it’s best to just kill the damn thing and get it out of the way. She goes to the Abortion Clinic and the doctor screws up and she’s still pregnant. She is too stupid to realize this until it’s too late. God blesses her with a baby girl and now it’s everyone’s fault but hers. You’ll notice that I said fault, like the baby girl is just an aberration! BEAM-ME-UP-SCOTTY!!!! Is there a place in hell for this B!TCH?!?! Oh well,…this is Massachusetts, home of Ted, Hic, Kennedy and John Kerry Heinz.

    Could it be,…SATAN?!?!

“Honey, I really, really wanted to have you murdered. But that lawsuit paid off nicely so I guess it worked out OK.”

Can’t you just feel the love?

#3. I don’t see any reference to the “baby daddy”. She can lay on her back with her legs in the air until the cows come home and if there isn’t a penis inserted and sperm deposited there is no pregnancy. Where the hell is the sperm donor? Doesn’t he have some resposibility here too? Is this baby just another ward of our nanny state? In no way am I defending her behavior, but it takes two to tango.

    “the so-called wrongful birth suit”
    That term disturbs me!

Anyone notice the Planned Parenthood commericals running lately? They are pretty polished and it looks like a great place…. funny they don’t mention killing babies in the commercial though.

It seems that our society has turned it’s back on personal responsibilty.

  9. HomerJ on March 7th, 2007 at 8:36 am

#6, good points. Another one of the problems with our abortion culture is that is (wrongly) liberates the man from responsibility. If this is feminism then women should ask for a refund.

  10. navymom on March 7th, 2007 at 8:48 am

Boy, am I feeling the love here or WHAT?

  11. Shelbz on March 7th, 2007 at 9:30 am

How about adoption not abortion? Does not cost the birth mother a penny.

Well, she must have had this woman’s problem.

Twilight Zone time. Cue the theme music….

  13. Dave D on March 7th, 2007 at 10:40 am

#6 Lawrence, You’ll get no argument from me on that, very well put. But sadly enough they are not held responsible near often enough and of course they have no Shame!

  14. willsin on March 7th, 2007 at 10:48 am

I do not think wrongful birth can go anywhere legally. However, the malpractice claim for failure to properly perform the medical procedure–abortion–is still viable. Pun intended.

  15. Adee on March 7th, 2007 at 11:07 am

#14 Willsin, I presume that is an ironic pun. It does the job.

  16. vlou on March 7th, 2007 at 11:34 am

This woman (the mother of the 2-year old) is insane - that poor child. The mother should have not gotten pregnant (there is such a thing as birth control) if she did not want the child in the first place. She needs to be held accountable for her own actions and quit blaming all others.

  17. HomerJ on March 7th, 2007 at 11:38 am

Just fyi - 60-70% of abortions are done on women who were using birth control at the time.

    #17 homerj

Do you have a citation for that statistic?

  19. HomerJ on March 7th, 2007 at 12:59 pm

    Hi BigJolly - here’s one link - http://www.abort73.com/HTML/II-D-birth_control.html

It had this paragraphs below. The figure here is 54%. I saw someone mention 70% the other day but don’t have a link for it. The 54% figure is from Planned Parenthood’s research organization so I can’t imagine a scenario where it would be less than that. It certainly bursts the bubble for those who insist that more contraception will result in dramatically reduced abortions.

“The Alan Guttmacher Institute, Planned Parenthood’s own research organization tells us that 54% of all abortions happen despite contraception use. Only 8% of women having abortions have never used birth control, and 90% of the women most likely to have an abortion are on birth control. The Centers for Disease Control says, “induced abortions usually result from unintended pregnancies, which often occur despite the use of contraception.”"

Homerj, thank you. I’ll read it later tonight.

  21. Meglet on March 7th, 2007 at 2:00 pm

That’s absolutely hideous…I hope they take the child away and give her to someone else!

  22. HomerJ on March 7th, 2007 at 2:37 pm

Oddly enough, stories like this can help advance pro-life reasoning with the middle ground.

In short, it was legal for this lady to pay a stranger to destroy the human being in question. If the procedure hadn’t been “botched” the girl wouldn’t be alive today.

Is it legal for the mother to kill the girl today? Of course not. It would not only be illegal but it would be considered the worst possible crime.

So what changed in the mean time? Two things: The girl in question got bigger and her environment changed (from inside the womb to outside). But the size and location of a person are irrelevant with respect to their human rights. In fact, we typically afford greater rights to those who are smaller and weaker.

Gives new meaning to this phrase:

    Hi! I’m a Roe and Wade survivor…..

  24. agent21 on March 7th, 2007 at 10:40 pm

Sue the bejesus out of Planned Abortions. Break them then award the money to the baby in trust and appoint an ad lidem guadian. Send the momma away with no cash and a coupon for a free Planned Abortions hysertectomy, performed by the skillful abortion Doctor as compensation.

Man, ya’ll are harsh! Makes me wonder if ya’ll are in on the clinic bombings!
