Actually, the problem is that ALL education is religious in nature. It rests on the world view of the teacher, whether the subject is language, science, math or history. That is why schools have always been a function of the church (or whatever religious group you choose) - at least up until the last 150 years. The public schools today are still religious in nature - the administrators and leaders just try to hide it.

The religion they teach is a amalgamation of secular humanism and worship of the God/State.
