    Words fail me.

  2. hamous on March 17th, 2007 at 3:34 pm

Coincidentally, I watched Undercover Brother last night. The movie is funny as hell! I think Nagin must have taken it seriously.

  3. raiderdav on March 17th, 2007 at 3:38 pm

And yet, he will be elected again. Too bad ‘they’ aren’t the voters.

  4. Dov on March 17th, 2007 at 7:11 pm

That picture of 600 Buses underwater will be seared in my memory, whoops that was Skerrys line.

  5. CherokeeCowboy on March 17th, 2007 at 7:27 pm

I suggest “he” come to Houston and ask “them” to return to Chocolate City” so the tax “They” pay will stop being wasted.

  6. Adee on March 17th, 2007 at 8:00 pm

Could it be “he” became infected by Lee.P. Brown’s presence, and all the gray matter above the brainstem slowly turned to mush and is leaking/has leaked out? Inquiring minds want to know…from a distance of course.

  7. gregg on March 17th, 2007 at 9:50 pm

Hes more than welcome to some of ours. We have plenty. They arent being used either. Just sittin around eating BB-Q, shootin at each other and playing dominoes.

At least when the garbage doesn’t get picked up the smell can’t get worse

  9. phil on March 17th, 2007 at 10:49 pm

And the brain dead sheep that voted him in again, will believe every word from their Psychotic Shepherd.

  10. I Am Iron Man on March 17th, 2007 at 10:58 pm

    “They” did this too…..

George Taylor: Oh my God. I’m back. I’m home. All the time, it was… We finally really did it.

What a pathetic excuse for the use of absolutely good oxygen.

  12. gadboy on March 18th, 2007 at 8:54 am

And this relates to me how?.

  13. Mike Smith on March 18th, 2007 at 9:06 am

Gadboy, this gives you insight into the liberal mindset. It’s simply not y’alls fault. Other people {the normal folks} need to be taking care of you liberals.

That’s how it relates to you.

As an FYI, the latest update for Firefox includes a built-in spell checker.
    WHOOO-HOOO!!!
No more problems with spelling on this forum!!!!

The dreaded “they”! They are everywhere, aren’t they? They certainly are kept busy, they are!

    I agree with you completely!

#1: Words don’t fail ME!, but as a former resident of NOLA you couldn’t PAY me to ever live in that XCZY@##@#! “Chocolate” town again! I applaud Mayor Nagin for reminding US why NO is shunned. Nagin’s problem is that he doesn’t know how to call a spade a spade! Chocolate, indeed!

We’ve only visited NOLA for meetings or to see friends who live in Covington, but those times were quite enough to convince us we wouldn’t move there. The last time was for a meeting 6 weeks before Katrina, and those who live there gave us visitors plenty of cautions about going out after dark or getting out of the downtown/FQ areas. Over the years the decline had progressed at each visit. What a shame.

To be honest, you weren’t at the forefront of my mind when I typed that. So, I guess you can be safe in assuming that I wasn’t trying to relate it to you. Okay?

But be careful, you can never really, truly know where “they” are, can you?

  19. Squawkbox Noise on March 18th, 2007 at 1:00 pm

    gadboy

Yep the world circles around just you. We will keep that in mind from now on.

I wanna talk about me, I wanna talk about i,
Wanna talk about number 1 oh my, me, my.
What I think, what I like, what I know, what I want, what I see.

I wanna talk about me! (me, me, me,) I wanna talk about me-e-e (me, me, me)

  20. vlou on March 18th, 2007 at 2:44 pm

Get real, Ray Nagin, you are only interested in making it look good for your own liberal black agenda. Have at it, no sane person (black or white or otherwise) would even think about moving back to a sinking place that can never really be fixed to the way it used to be. It’s over. Too bad THEY can’t have it THEIR way!

  21. PBFloyd on March 18th, 2007 at 3:04 pm

Boiled down, ‘they’ is whitey. The prevailing mindset of these overt bigots is: Everything is messed up, cuz they (whitey) made it that way!

It’s the same kind of mindless rationalization that allows these imbeciles to re-elect a dolt like Nagin again. Even after his demonstrated incompetence, ineffectiveness and galactic stupidity.

I will never set foot in nor spend one thin dime in NOLA while ‘light bulb head Nogin’ is mayor.
I washed my hands of caring about these self appointed Katrina ‘victims’ after they
showed such abject stupidity in his re-election.

Imbeciles get what they deserve: a mega-imbecile!

I totally agree! While these idiots are sitting on their hands scraaming victim status, the citizens of Mississippi have already cleaned up their mess and gotten on with their lives.

That should have been “screaming!” Sorry!

  26. PBFloyd on March 18th, 2007 at 11:11 pm

    #25 Neo: No problemo, the typo gnomes do it, really, and they get us all from time to time! (;

But you know the people who really got a raw deal was those effected by Rita right here in Texas, suffered greatly, but the LameStreamMedia is’nt interested in their legitimate plight, doesn’t fit the agenda, don’tcha know?

  27. rj on March 19th, 2007 at 7:54 am

    #23;
The real difference is clear as black and white.
    #21;

Everyone knows the real reason for the failure in NO and every other black endevor.

The citizens of our country have been so beaten down by our Gov when it comes to saying anything negative about blacks that most are unwilling to even consider much less voice an opinion about whats behind the continued success of the Nagins, Marion Barry’s, Jessy Jacksons, Loui Frarakans and Al Sharptons.

If racism still exist, its because Americans are fed up with the antics of a portion of the black community.

A few, like yourself, have the bal*s to speak the truth and point out the obivious.
    Thank you.

Once again NOLA mayor is blameless…they (da white folk) be keepin’ us down. It must be wonderful to have an excuse for everything he does wrong. Besides the LA political machine don’t want their citizens back…too real estate that can be better used than section 8 housing (DUH).As far as folks wanting to return to NOLA…why should they? Given all the free-bies here in the Lone Star State…hell, they’re lazy but not stupid. Womb to the Tomb…go figure.

  29. RickG on March 19th, 2007 at 10:41 am

You can hardly blame Nagin, since “they” blew up the levees so the city could flood in the first place.
