More scientists are speaking out about the overblown global warming threats:
The current debate about global warming is “completely irrational,” and people need to start taking a different approach, say two Ottawa scientists.
Carleton University science professor Tim Patterson said global warming will not bring about the downfall of life on the planet.
Al Gore won’t like to hear this, but this scientist says it ain’t our fault:
Patterson said much of the up-to-date research indicates that “changes in the brightness of the sun” are almost certainly the primary cause of the warming trend since the end of the “Little Ice Age” in the late 19th century. Human emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), the gas of concern in most plans to curb climate change, appear to have little effect on global climate, he said.
This heretic even had the temerity to suggest the global warming rage is a waste of valuable dollars:
“All the money wasted on Kyoto in a year could provide clean drinking water for Africa,” said Patterson. “We’re into a new era of science with the discussion of solar forces. Eventually, Kyoto is going to fall by the wayside. In the meantime, I’m worried we’re going to spend millions that could have been spent on something better like air pollution.”
And, according to another skeptic, the media isn’t helping the cause of truth any:
“The media takes (inconclusive) information that only suggests there could be a climate problem and turns it into an environmental catastrophe,” said Harris.
“They continually say we only have 10 years left, and they’ve been saying it for 20 years, and it’s ridiculous,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Global Warming Mafia in Britain is trying to silence dissenters:
“The Great Global Warming Swindle” aired on British television in March and is coming out soon on DVD. It argues that man-made emissions have a marginal impact on the world’s climate and warming can better be explained by changing patterns of solar activity.
An open letter sent Tuesday by 38 scientists, including the former heads of Britain’s academy of sciences and Britain’s weather office, called on producer Wag TV to remove what it called “major misrepresentations” from the film before the DVD release — a demand its director said was tantamount to censorship.
The film’s director, who called the open letter “loathsome,” pulled no punches:
“This is a contemptible, weasel-worded attempt to gag scientific criticism, and it won’t work,” he said. “I don’t believe they’re interested in quality control when it comes to the reporting of science — so long as it’s on their side.”
Meanwhile, we are reminded that not even all our allies believe in free speech in the way we do:
“Free speech does not extend to misleading the public by making factually inaccurate statements,” he said. “Somebody has to stand up for the public interest here.”
Chilling, isn’t it? If somebody decides your ideas are wrong, we won’t let the marketplace decide, we will simply edit them out. You will be an unperson with non-ideas.
If these global warming zealots are so sure of their science, why do they attempt to shut the other side up? Won’t the truth set them, and us, free?

So now the carbon credit companies are being exposed as Ponzi swindles, and they just got started. As ole P.T. Barnum said, there’s a sucker born every minute. In this case there’s a litter of suckers born every minute.

First, global warming is happening and has been happening for at least the last 18,000 years. It will continue to happen until we enter our planet’s next ice age.
Second, any time you hear a global warming scientist talk about the warming and NOT include the Sun & water vapor in our atmosphere, you can safely ignore the scientist. The Sun and water vapor are the two largest contributors to our global warming. If the scientist is ignoring those two items, he/she is just on an agenda-driven spew that will be devoid of any facts in their predictions.
Third, CO2 is a very small part of the global warming mix and the human contribution to CO2 is minuscule as compared to our planetary CO2 production. {Yes, over 10 trillion liters of exhaled CO2 each and every day by humans is minuscule as compared to what our planet “exhales” each day.}
The global warming crowd is being intentionally deceptive. Expect it.
