For my fellow sports fans, the story on radio guy Granato:

John Granato will leave KILT (610 AM), effective today, under the terms of an out-of-court settlement reached Sunday night in his lawsuit against CBS Radio, KILT’s parent company.

No word on what radio station may be in his future.

Actually, there’s been some speculation that Granato will move to KILE-1560, as one of his friends has become PD over there and is remaking the station.

I’ve enjoyed 610’s morning show since John and Lance first started, and I’m sorry to see Granato go.

Less Granato is good, But VanDerMeer is going in the wrong direction.

I for one will miss Granato each morning. He’s a treat to listen to! I have also had the pleasure to meet him socially, and he is the “real deal”.

Hopefully they’ll be able to replace him with someone who has both sports knowledge and knows how to use proper grammar…At least Granato had some sports knowledge…
