Reminds me of the Congress man in South Dakota who bragged about his ridiculous driving record and than killed a grandfather on his Harley and got 30 days in jail and served 15 and got off.

What was his name Janklow ?

    Dov,

I don’t know, but would be interested in knowing. Was he perhumps (I love that term, Katfish!) a Democrat?

I’m sorry Neocon. I voted staunchly conservative (often wonder why)

“The blunt, tough-talking Republican, one of South Dakota’s most powerful political figures, served as attorney general for four years in the 1970s and 16 years as governor before being elected to South Dakota’s lone House seat last year. ”

No he wasn’t a Democrat, he was a politician and that seems to spoil em all.

As a young man, I was a briefcase carrier in a huge anti-trust suit in which (then) Governor Janklow (he was later elected to the House of Representatives) testifed. He was the most entertaining witness of the month-long trial. So it should be for a politician, right?
