Hey! Hey! (tap on glass) Hey! You politicians!
    HERE’S YOUR CLUE!

Well, the Libertarians will have no better time to pounce then they’ll have in 2008. At this rate, if they can just get 12,000 or so votes, they should be able to rap up the Whitehouse. Liberals don’t want to vote Democrat and Conservatives don’t want to vote Republican.

So the right wing is withholding contributions from the Republicans and the left wing is withholding from the Democrats. Gee, I wonder whose base is worth more money?

  4. Big45Iron on June 1st, 2007 at 3:50 pm

For the last three years I’ve been returning RNC requests for contributions telling them they won’t get another penny from me until they actually cut spending, and until they get the Texas RINOs under control, and they seal the border. Amazingly they still keep on mailing me. And I keep on replying….on their $ of course.

Big45 and Fasternu, I do the same thing, write around the edges of the form…. no money until you get a backbone and cut spending. I consider myself average. If we three are doing this, most must be!. Are they brain dead?

  8. DennisOnTheRight on June 1st, 2007 at 5:51 pm

Doing same here as well. I particularly enjoy responding to mail from John Macain on his nickel!

By the way, I haven’t tested it, but I heard that if you attach the “postage to be paid by addressee” postcard to a package, they get charged for the whole thing. Particularly useful if you get any solicitations from liberal groups.

I hope Karl Rove doesn’t read this story and conclude it means the Republicans are going with win all 535 Senate/House seats and the White House in the coming elections.

I have been writing felt tip nastygrams back on RNC, NRCC, and TRP solicitations for a year.

My political contributions so far this year have been to the Minutemen, Tom Crancredo and the Constitution Party

Impeach the “traitor dog” El Presidente!!!

If that is true, I’ll mail my adopted troop member priority mail! heh heh…keep me posted!

I also mail back my 2 cents on their dime. Keep up the good work, folks! I can see their faces, thinking money is in the envelope, and SHAZAM! :)

I do the same as American Woman with the various solicitations and questionnaires the GOP sends out. Answer the questions and make comments, then send regrets at the end that I can’t countenance sending a donation until they get a spine.

My favorite rejoinder is they must guarantee that none of Congress members who voted for the Iraq Surrender Bill get one red cent of GOP support. And the immigration bill is the current seriously touchy subject that snaps my purse shut. You would think by now it would sink in at some level of consciousness. That of course presumes there is some consciousness of the world outside the DC bubble.

    Run Fred run.

It appears that we are all making “snide” remarks on their return questionnaires (we do it every time as well). Don’t they get the message? They have got to be idiotic robots to keep sending those mailouts without taking any action on the comments.

I remember Republicans telling me their principals included
    - no new taxes
    - smaller government

This new tax shows that principles are ignored if they don’t like people.

Now consider the $5 charge to enter an SOB
because Ellen Cohen wanted to fund her projects. Now $25 mil goes to abused women the other $60 mil of the $85 goes to the general fund.

I figure about 100-200 K voter will be ticked off.

This is probably all that will be needed to put the Democrats back in the Legislature.

If they come to me for money then “Frankly my dear - I don’t give a damn”

  15. azrael on June 2nd, 2007 at 7:54 pm

And by the way - I tape 2 cents in the envelope.

But I like the package idea
